I feel like this is going to go one of two ways for Cleveland. They are going to come out next week with their hair on fire after that win or they have a huge let down and get smacked by KC. I tend to lean toward the getting smacked cause they’re young and never won a playoff game with this group. I think they’ll let it go to their head. 

IMO, Pittsburgh is terrible.  They’ve got a winning culture, more defensive playmakers than most (look how far that gets you in the nfl playoffs these days...48 points), some WRs that don’t separate a ton with an intriguing rookie, and a QB who is no longer viable.  
 

That doesn’t add up to a competitive team.  Their 12 wins were a total farse.

I think they’ll push hard early and the 1st quarter will be close, maybe even first half.  At some point, the Chiefs will start to score at will, the Browns offense will press, and then the mistakes will come.

I can see that. I think the biggest chance at an upset is likely buffalo/ravens or Saints/bucs. I want to say ravens have the best chance cause the bills when they lose have trouble stopping the run. Cardinals game they lost on the hail Mary but Murray, edmunds and drake combined for 217 yards to keep them in that game and give them a chance. I’d still take buffalo cause i trust Allen more than Lamar

I’m not so sure Doug doesn’t wanna leave anyways with the changes they likely are asking of him. I tend to believe if they take away playcalling from him and force a staff on him, he might rather go somewhere else. 

For what it's worth, all three of Bo Wulf, Zach Berman, and Sheil Kapadia think there is a greater than 50% chance Doug isn't with the Eagles after tomorrow.

Unless I’m mistaken, the report prior to the Eagles last game against WFT was that Doug was likely staying, but significant coaching changes would be made.  I have to believe that was Lurie’s position.

Perhaps what transpired was Lurie asked Howie how the coaching interviews were going, and Howie said "Doug intends to go with Press Taylor for OC and Matt Burke for DC”, and Lurie replied, "Yeah?  Like F!” ... and then we hear that Doug is suddenly not quite as safe.

I have no doubt in my mind Lurie asked Doug what his plan was and Doug’s response was "singular voice at OC which is Press Taylor.” This led to Lurie telling Doug to think about his answer because he’s going to ask him the same question in one week.

I love the pod but it feels like they don’t have great sources for breaking reports and are just good writers. I’d imagine they are just reading the writing on the wall.

I wish Lurie could get through to him that he’s not Andy Reid or Sean Payton, or even McVay — he has to have a bonafide, qualified OC.  Press Taylor has zero credentials.  Graham Harrell last year had zero credentials.

It seems like Doug’s idea of an OC is some young intern who will be a "yes man” and he can just delegate tasks to — and then fans are left asking why the offense stinks, when the answer is pretty much apparent

Also, Press supposedly called some plays this year and the offense was still bad as a whole. So, it wouldn't be changing anything other than Marty and Rich not being back.

Right now in terms of the offense it seems that Scangarello and Marty are taking the fall for the offensive struggles. Struggles that go back beyond their time here. It's actually a pretty poor and weak show by Lurie if I'm honest. 

Can’t blame Lurie here. Doug isn’t good enough to keep around if he insists on having Press Taylor as OC. Neither of them can call plays. Of all things I can’t believe Doug is so dumb and choose to die on that hill

This.  He gave him a week to dump some dead weight and provide a performance plan to deal with the deficiencies and to fix the franchise QB.  Whether Doug is smart enough to figure that out or not is the question.  I do not think that he is.

Kind of interesting both 6 seeds knocked off the 3 seeds. The one other thing those 6 seeds had in common, they both lost to the Jets in back to back weeks.
