I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I should have said people I like.

Doesn't make you any less wrong.

I'm not a fan of Howie or Lurie dictating what a HC should be doing with his staff and meddling into his job.

At the same time, bringing back Groh and Walch is completely unacceptable. Promoting Press Taylor to OC and Andrew Breiner, a guy who last worked with Quarterbacks at Fordham and you have a broken QB and a second year player who needs a ton of development, is unacceptable. This is a business and Doug needs to grow a pair and handle his coaching staff appropriately. He will never last in this league if he can't do the basic things like holding people accountable.

Both situations are wrong.   Groh never should have been elevated to OC, but the timing was terrible for them to bring in a new OC after Reich went to Indy.  Groh was ideally suited for WR coach.  But, they'd already moved him to QB coach after DeFilippo left...

Long story short... the dominoes all run back to Josh McDaniels... I hate that guy.

For all of you against Doug on this, it’s fair. But I for one am not. Just look at Jim Schwartz, granted his defense was up and down, but he wasn’t chomping at the bit to come back to this team; he wanted out too.

It should really tell us something about the way this organization is going.

Howie has now pushed two head coaches out of town. But hey, maybe he can convince Lurie that a committee of head coaches is better than one, or something else that’s stupid!

I only wanted doug gone if it was a package deal, but nope. King Howie remains. F this team.

Hurts humpers must be sweating now

Odds are that Mahomes made Kafka not vice versa. Gase was supposedly a genius because he coached Manning. Let's be careful here.

I’m not saying that’s not the case. Just telling you how they will view it and a lot of teams as he helped him when he was not the league mvp.

NVM... I read that as you were going to sign up just to vote no to troll... but I am clearly out of my head.   Carry on.

Anyone remember when the team went in a different direction and hired that guy from Oregon.

We don't have to go the college route.

I frankly wanted them to sign warford try to convince him not to sit out the year before he made that’s decision.

yup.

Warford or Kyle Long.

I think people would hate the move but i do like Kafka based on a lot of the stuff I’ve read and heard last offseason. He’s going to be a HC one day it’s only a matter of when. I much prefer him working with wentz/hurts as much as i like beinemy as a coach i don’t know how he works with QBs and developing them.

I'm not trying to rag on Beinemy...but we often share the same opinions on here.  What does he bring to the table that makes you think he will be a good head coach? To me, hiring him would be as exciting as promoting Duce Staley.  It gives Lurie points for hiring an AA but as far as building a team and a winning culture I don't see it.

100%. I'm glad that dude burned enough bridges he's hasn't really even been considered for another HC gig.

I think it's more on Andy Reid himself than anybody else. That guy is just a QB Guru thru and thru. And I think Mahomes and Reid is just the absolute perfect pairing of coaching and talent.

Let’s just all remember we were upset when we hired Doug and he won a SB. I’m not going to judge whoever we go with.

Please dont hire one of the Cheifs guys.  Hire Daboll, Brady, or Smith

I think he’s actually a step up from Duce as he’s been the OC. He’s not calling plays but i think he’s had more responsibilities than Duce based on podcasts I’ve listened too. I wouldn’t exactly be as excited for beinemy or Duce. I would rather go Kafka, daboll or joe Brady tbh.

You stop.  Peters was brought back before they lost 2 starting OL.  They brought him back at RG.  That was a mistake.  They compounded the mistake by paying more money (for an old and busted player, shocking!) to move to LT.

Wrong.  Peters was brought back AFTER Brandon Brooks was injured to play guard and he wasn't asked to play tackle until AFTER Dillard was out for the season.

Jason Garrett

Bieniemy would be my guess.

"Exceptionally strong group of people in this organization who can set us up for future success" = Howie Fing Roseman

Sickening.

Your reading comprehension skills really suck.   Take a class.

Wouldn't Bienemy be the same type of hire that Doug was?  I am OK with exciting prospects at head coach, but I just don't want to repeat the same old process and people.
