January 11, 20214 yr I also hope this new HC means clean sweep on D. Don't force a Burke promotion on a guy coming in.

He didnt have an offensive HC above him taking control like Doug and Eric were in KC. Not to mention he has done a very good job with Josh Allen and turning him into a top NFL QB. It's time for another team to get Frank Reiched
January 11, 20214 yr Jeff is sitting in front of his TV set right now... wondering why no one is responding to him.

Lurie listens....obviously. No chance the Eagles aren't one of the best open jobs, regardless of the reset that will have to take place the next few years. I completely disagree. To Me it comes down to if they want daboll it is us and the chargers. I think jags go urban Meyer. The Jets i think would push for daboll but i actually think it’s a logical place for doug to go. Falcons and lions i just wouldn’t touch cause both have older QBs so you’d have to draft someone and start over. Texans would have been up there if watson was likely to stay and not dysfunctional if not more so then the eagles. If im daboll it comes down to do i think i can fix wentz or go with Herbert who was great this year. Also would i rather be in LA or philly. And finally spanos or lurie. As dysfunctional as we have been spanos is an awful owner and cheap

January 11, 20214 yr For the life of me I can't understand why Luire thinks firing Doug is a good decision if he's going to keep Howie.

January 11, 20214 yr Here is the question for you- What does Dougs Future look like? Is he the Jets next HC, does he Rich Kotite his way out of the NFL?

I think Doug will land on his feet and be a decent coach elsewhere. But, I don't see him getting back to the Super Bowl, or even a perennial playoff contender, but he's not Kotite.

How much input did Doug have? You and I can only speculate. Jeff knows the truth.

Chargers are the best spot. Young talented qb and alot less media/pressure plus the weather but we do have a crap division set up for immediate playoffs

Lol probably do all of the play calling that we wanted him to do for so long. He could end up being a great HC somewhere else
