Aside from the Howie thing is just the fact that the new coach walks into a QB controversy, and oh yeah, even if you win a SB here it doesnt get you much authority or even jib security

 

I think unless Howies role changes significantly and they bestow a lot more power on the new HC, we can prepare for a Kafka-like hire--a new HC getting his first gig or trying to break into the profession

Doesnt mean it wont work, just that we probably wont walk away with a flashy name
