This is like an episode of Parks and Rec where they are filibustering to kill time.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Zero changes on the personnel side. Effing great.

Lurie feels Howie can get out of the cap mess that Howie put us in

You can get out of a bad cap situation in only 12 months, eh?

Seems Howie has brainwashed Jeff.   It's going to be 2021 and 2022 dealing with that crap.

Lurie left the door open for QB competition. Says one of Hurts or Wentz can be the starter, the other an asset.

Short term vs long term. Seriously don't you get that?

Agreed. Otherwise the timing is complete lunacy.

He's right though. Of course, that would mean REALLY blowing up 2021...

It would be a Miami-level tank job.

Tom Coughlin and Ben McAdoo are primed and ready.

He's completely transformed into Jerry Jones.

I love the city of Philadelphia so much... that I am holding this Zoom from Florida.

When asked if Wentz was on the 2021 roster the first thing he said is Carson is a great asset to this team.  Then he said yes, in 2021, I'm fully confident Carson can play at a high level...so there's that.  IMO, Carson is gone.

This is pure insanity

They sort of blew that when they started kicking Alshon Jeffery's and Malik Jackson's numbers to 2022.   Because they have to.

Yeah what i touched on last night. Looks completely dysfunctional to fire him a. Week later without having some sort of knowledge and info that they can get the guy they ideally want. I think the eagles and Lurie are dysfunctional but i don’t think they are delusional when it comes to thinking about who they could attract and get to take over with what they are hearing or discussed

Things are about to get ugly.

If Joe Banner is correct it would be someone that Howie or Lurie has connection with.  We heard of Riley but also Daboll shares the same agent has Howie so there could be behind the scenes talks already happening.

I would think Riley/Hurts and Daboll/Wentz

I just don't want one of the Cheif's guys.

The only good thing Lurie said was that the owner should never be involved in a decision regarding the QB and player personnel etc.

Well Wentz might be moved. He said whether we chose to move on with one or the other. I hope they just blow it all up.

Good. Tank in 2021.

No rush?  If we don't hire anyone until late February it's OK.

What is with him?  You don't want to have a staff together for pre-draft stuff (combine or not)?  He's delusional.

Why would anyone assume the Eagles have a plan? Let alone one they can execute.

I'd be shocked if they have a short list of coaches and I doubt Lurie knows WTF he wants to happen at the QB position, either.

Thing is, if you had asked him this question last year, he would have empathically said that Wentz is their franchise QB and that's that. He did not do that here, he very much left the door open for trading Wentz.

Damage is done bud. He's not taken the necessary steps to right the ship. This team is going to be bad for the next few years.

Random but Joe Douglas got two 1st round picks for a box safety. That is low key one of the most lopsided trades ever.

You're calling Adams a box safety?
