Pretty obvious he was somehow subconsciously defending the decision to put him in against WFT.  (You know, since it was most likely agreed upon between all 3 of them that Hurts would get pulled).  He didn't expect for the team to react and he ended up firing his head coach today because his coach lost the team because of the decision the THREE of them made. 

Duce can’t even handle the RBs. I don’t want him as a HC. What argument is there for Duce other than he’s been here for a while?

The one positive I see is I like the idea of the OC running the offense and the DC running the defense with the HC overseeing everything.

more about leader than technical expertise of x and o

that can work if you have strong people supporting them like Reich, Defilipo etc

Im not sure why anyone on twitter would see Doug fired largely due to his plan of promoting from within, and then think Duce has a realistic chance of happening.

Lurie kinda dodged the question on who will make the draft picks. He could've easily said. "Howie makes the picks, no questions asked."

Anyone think it's possible Lurie made a change there, but didn't wanna make Howie look bad publicly?
