It all depends on the conversation Lowie has with him.

If he's a bright guy who understands that his NFL blueprint will need to be different, then maybe he'll be great.  If Lowie are hiring him to take his Oklahoma offense to the NFL, then it's going to be Spurrier/Chip all over again.

2 things I said to look out for in the Natty.  Chris Olave and Jeremy Ruckert. Back to my trading Dallas Goedert for a 2nd and 4th proposal.  Ruckert would be a nice mid-round TE.  Olave is a poor man's Devonta Smith.

Nice one-handed catch by the OSU TE.  And it's tied up.

I think he's a 3rd rounder, especially if there's no combine to get consistent testing. 

Side note...for the second HC search in a row, Lowie cannot use Duce as the Rooney Rule interview.  That's disrespectful to Duce.  You can't just keep interviewing the same guy on your staff to satisfy the rule every time you fire and search for a HC.

I would trade nearly any player on this roster for draft value that marginally exceeds what was used to select him.  Any player except Mailata.  Even Sweat isn't safe.  That certainly includes Goedert.

Not sure if you saw my comparisons a few weeks back but the Ravens traded Hayden Hurst and a 4th to the Falcons for a 2nd and a 5th.

Hurst was 26 when he was traded.  Goedert just turned 26.  DG pretty much doubled Hurst's production, tripled his TD's.

Goedert very well could get a 2nd and change.  That, plus we just can't afford him.  His next contract is going to be huge.

whats really truly impressive is that Jordan Matthews somehow set that record on mostly screen passes despite his limitations.

Definitely remember that.  It's a very favorable comp for the Eagles.  I think that was a horrible trade for the Falcons and another team would be very stupid repeat it.  But the comp is there and I agree...Goedert is better than Hurst.
