I don't see how Miami passes on him at #3. Their biggest position of need + Tua's teammate.

Agreed

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Hey now, I'm not advocating for him. But there already is a thread in IWTEG. Surprised it didn't fester in here.

Don't invoke it... it might just happen.

I would bet a ton of money if the Eagles stay at six and pick is going to be offense. Especially if they bring in Lincoln Riley. Not saying it’s right but that’s my belief on what they’re gonna do

Oh, I'm not saying they would take a LB high just an observation about potential staff and what they focus on.

Wade who's one of the top CBs in the draft having his hands full with Smith so far

Yeah I'm sold on Smith

Yup. I think a key sticking point will be "How do you plan on fixing Wentz". Dougs answer of run it all back was probably not good enough. Like Kempski said, fans may not like it but Lurie forked over a $50+ million check to Wentz. I doubt he's inclined to sell him for pennies on the dollar. And I don't care about his "owner shouldn't decide" answer today. It's BS.

I suspect Wentz is the guy for various reasons, but I’m not ruling anything out at the position.

I take him over Chase.

He's good

Forget size this kid is tough. No problem if you want to go another route saying he’s to small doesn’t cut it.

I wouldn't. Smith is good tho

He looks uninterested out there. Not just tonight. Maybe he's not in good shape. I know he initially opted out of the season.

I forgot about the Pac-10/12.  Should just change their name to the Pacific Coast Conference.  Right, Big 10 is up to 14 teams now.  Yay, US education system!  Call it the Valedictorian Conference.

The greatest irony is that the Big "10" might be the most academic of all of the power conferences.

You all are allowed onto the Smith wagon.

I like to be contrarian and will continue to be so with Smith.  But tonight is not the night to argue that.  🤣

I'm not watching the game, but it sounds like he's moving around the field like it's WR drills in training camp.

He was pretty locked in against Clemson. Gave up some plays but nothing like tonight

Fun to watch an OC who knows how to get the ball into his playmaker’s hands.

Curious if they hired Lincoln Riley who they bring arm to be a defensive coordinator. I think they’ll do something like they did with doug and get a guy with experience that may have been a HC previously but is really better as DC to help Riley with the transition from college to the pros.

Alabama has Smith and OSU doesn't, that's the difference. I can't remember the last time a WR tipped the scales this drastically for a team.

Yup.  He is.

These Devonta Smith plays look stupid easy.

Lol. Nope. He gets open is what matters.

Chase last year for LSU.

Not to this level, and this is coming from someone who believes Chase is better.
