I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Yep.  And Steve Sarc is drawing an inside straight every drive.

The Buckeyes probably shouldn’t cover Smith up the seam with their MLB.

Exactly. A lot of Smith's production is indicative of Alabama as a whole. He just ran straight through the middle of the field with slow-ass Tuf Borland huffing and puffing behind him.

I'm not sure how often a player actually lives up to his highlight reel, but tonight Smith has met and exceeded it. Dude is a monster.

People say Chase is right up there with this dude? If so, and the Eagles go WR @6, they can't go wrong.

I think Chase is better. Both are really good route runners with great hands. Chase is more physical on his routes and can block

I have never seen someone this unstoppable at WR, he is dominating like Wilt Chamberlain in his prime. WOW

Did you see Wilt Chamberlain?

It's really just about the talent difference between the Alabama offense and OSU defense. Not to mention OSU is without a number of starters on their d-line to make it an ever bigger gap in talent.

RIP Smith’s career. Over before it even began.

Will Smith even last to 6 after this?

Smith 12 receptions 215 yards 3 TDs in a half

Damn

Chase hasn't met a corner he couldn't beat. This draft is like the AJ Green Julio draft. People should be excited.

Well, this probably puts Jamar Chase in the Eagles laps at #6, for better or worse.

3 QB's, the elite LT prospect, and the best WR on the board will go top 5.  You can take that to the bank.

Smith just passed Chase.

So Lowie will pick between Chase and the field at #6.

That looked like it might have been a non-contact injury, and he was wearing a brace...   That's not good.

I don't think you need to 'see' Wilt, to know how good he was.  He literally picked what stat he wanted to lead the league in every year, and did it.  Smith is just out there doing the same.  He's on another level.  He's far surpassed Fitz's last year in college for the best single season performance.  He's also been consistent his entire career.

The play calling is fantastic.  Scheme to get the ball in your best players hands.  Put them in motion.  Clearly, Smith and Harris are their best players and what is he doing...finding ways to get them the ball.

Imagine if someone did that for the Eagles.

Neither Smith nor Chase quite stand up to the imposing eye and measurable test in the way that AJ Green and Julio did...

I think Chase sitting out and Smith absolutely dominating this season has evened their draft stock. Their 40 times will be the determinating factor for who goes first.

Yeah, that sucks.

Yeah but he’s considerably slower and doesn’t create as much separation

Ok.. .NVM... his left foot was caught by the DL as he went by, then he didn't put that foot down again.

One of the two will for sure be there at 5. Worst case scenario though would be Miami taking Chase/Smith, Atlanta taking Sewell, and Cincy taking Chase/Smith.

Smith will smoke Chase at the 40

I agree. Different type receivers. Equally as talented.

That's when we trade down with a team looking for the QB that fell.

Unless we are the team looking for the QB that fell...

Then once Smith is All-Pro and Chase flames out, Howie can blame the teams in front of us taking the players he wants!

Neither did Jerry Rice or Marvin Harrison.

I think something people forget too with Smith is it’s not like this was bizarre breakout season. He was regarded a 1st round guy last year too before he decided to go back to Bama
