I don't think you need to 'see' Wilt, to know how good he was.  He literally picked what stat he wanted to lead the league in every year, and did it.  Smith is just out there doing the same.  He's on another level.  He's far surpassed Fitz's last year in college for the best single season performance.  He's also been consistent his entire career.

I know. I was just thinking if he saw Wilt play in his prime it might be time for bed and not talking about Wilt’s exploits in  TATE.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Re Smith v Chase...I haven't watched enough of either, yet.  Sign me up for the one that separates better.

If Chase is a master contested catch and physicality guy...at 6'...I have concerns.

Well, this probably puts Jamar Chase in the Eagles laps at #6, for better or worse.

3 QB's, the elite LT prospect, and the best WR on the board will go top 5.  You can take that to the bank.

Smith just passed Chase.

So Lowie will pick between Chase and the field at #6.

That puts the Eagles in a good trade down spot. If three QBs go as quickly as expected, some team might get desperate to move up for Lance or Jones.

I agree. Different type receivers. Equally as talented.

Chase reminds me of Watkins.  Outside of size, Smith is a Rice clone.

Smith will smoke Chase at the 40

Lowie will F___ it up.

That’s literally Chase’s calling card. Freak athlete at his size, catches everything around him, but not a blazer or big separator.

I give DeVonta Smith a TON of credit.  He could have come out last year, decided to go back and try to win the NC.  He goes out and puts on a stellar performance, wins the Heisman and puts an exclamation point on it tonight.

Meanwhile, Chase sat home all year and watched from his couch.  There's really no way to put Chase over Smith at this point.  Chase had one year of production, he could be a one year wonder... and he's a year removed from the game.  Meanwhile, Smith looked like he might have been the best WR for Alabama last year, and just did nothing but but a stamp on that this year to be the best WR in the nation.

Finally a good Wade play

The intangibles factor will go in Smith's favour, Chase sitting out this year will hurt him in the draft.

He reminds me of Dez Bryant.

I tuned in just in time to watch apparently the first and only route in which Smith was covered tonight.

Alabama should’ve accepted penalty and thrown a Hail Mary w/4 seconds

Yeah but he’s considerably slower and doesn’t create as much separation

Watch his game tape lol

Well definitely don’t want him now

Like Smith and Boldin?  Uhh.  They are two completely different builds.

I think he was saying they were both physical WRs, and he sees Chase as a physical WR.

One of the two will for sure be there at 5. Worst case scenario though would be Miami taking Chase/Smith, Atlanta taking Sewell, and Cincy taking Chase/Smith.

I see Lawrence, Fields, Seweill, Chase, Smith as the top 5 picks. I think we will  need a 3rd QB (Wilson?) to get one of the WRs at 6. That is worst case, but I think it has good chance of happening unfortunately.

I'd trade down and target Wyatt Davis (who is injured heading into locker room btw) - if this happens.

I'm ok with Smith going before Chase. As long as we take Chase

I’d honestly be happy if they just don’t F up the pick.

He kind of looks like Sam Bradford later in his career with the bad hair and somewhat beard

He is also massively annoying. Berman is BY FAR the best one of that pod. He is constantly trying to talk and make points while Bo attempts and fails miserably to be funny. Kapadia is good too but too often he gets involved in the stupid crap. Someone should tell baldy Bo that people listen to the pod for Eagles information and not his lame attempts at being funny.

I will.  Oh wait... I didn't write it.  :P

Are there many instances of one-year wonders who dominate the SEC as a 19-year-old?

David Boston was legitimately one of those receivers in NFL blitz once he started the roids.
