I was listening to Tim McMahon is on 975 with Mike miss and he said a reason why he believes howie hasn’t been fired is because Jeff tells him what he wants and howie just goes out and does it for lurie. So in his opinion lurie is the one asking howie to make some of these moves and transactions. I’m guessing based off how he talked about it he has some sort of info behind that

Surtain hasn't been tested outside of once, I still maintain he is a joker/hybrid type player in the NFL.  He doesn't have the hips to play CB.
