If true that makes me even more positive that they didn’t draft Jalen hurts to be a back up. That was just their statement cause people would buy it and their secondary concerns. They drafted him with the thoughts that they didn’t know what Carson Wentz they were going to get over the next two years before they could get out of his contact. So if they got to 2021 and Carson was more of early season 2019 Carson and not late season 2019 Carson that they can move on from him, they would have a quarterback they love in place, he be groomed and ready to go after two years

smith has a hand injury, eagles draft him at 6, hand injury plagues him the rest of his career and he is never able to catch the ball easily ever again.  he can get separation, break the ankles of a db, but never make the catch....  bet.

I mean if Lurie wanted Harrell there’s probably some reason to believe that he’s involved.  He did want Groh gone.  I wonder if he wanted Tate and that’s why the coaching staff had no good plan to work him in the game plan.

Frankly if he wanted to date that was a ridiculous pick up. It was a redundancy of what they already had.  Like if we didn’t have Nelson Agholor I’d have been more in favor of it. While agholor wasn’t as good as tate they really needed an outside WR with any vertical stretch. They were better off dealing a 2nd for Robby Anderson tbh. Would’ve been a massive upgrade for 2018 and 2019 and you don’t get into the desean contract. And we basically blew a second on JJAW anyway
