The real problem was after winning the SB, they couldn't fire Pederson and replace him with Reich.

What I think Howie wants in a HC is someone between Chip's megalomania and Pederson's insecurity, that is, a HC who isn't a control freak and has no problem hiring top flight assistants and letting them have some of the credit. AR in KC after he was humbled when he ran into the Peter Principle.

Sounds like an excuse to be honest. Those same kids could go to any other power 5 conference school and play earlier. 
Kentucky basketball gets nothing but 5 star players. Haven’t won many championship. 
UCLA basketball back in the day, UConn Women nowadays. The kids all didn’t just go there in the beginning. My point is the Coaches there tend to be doing something right.

Except that a week ago there were reports that scouts felt they were being overridden b/c Howie deferred to the coaches, BEFORE they decided to fire Pederson.

So this is more confirmation than leaks.

Well here's to hoping when they make the hire we all don't go wtf, like last time (although it worked out) and just about every draft choice

The haves have always dominated college football, going back to WWI.

The only difference is different "haves," Alabama emerged a few decades ago, Penn State slipped, Texas no longer dominates the SW, and USC glory days are an afterthought.

Harrison is the right comparison, Smith is nothing like Rice.

Harrison was also slender, but dominated not with speed like DeSean, but because he ran the entire route tree perfectly.

Anytime you can get experience interviewing for a job you eventually want you should do it. That goes for people in most people as well.

college football is broke. It shows week in  week out. But University of New Mexico with a crap facility with no luxury amenities  , a 10th of the paid coaching staff, with 1 one thousands of a budget should "work harder"

And I've said it a million Bleeping times. The reason the 2nd stringers and 3rd stringers not going to other schools is exactly whats wrong. Why would they go play in a run down stadium, with trash facilities, with 3 paid coaches. When you can have individual paid coaches, live like a king and wait your turn at  bama/Clemson/Etc

30 point blow out in the finals. 20 point blow in in the orange bowl. 20 point in the Fiesta bowl. 30 point in the sugar bowl. Nothing wrong with college football. Purdue, Houston and UCF should just work harder

Who said there wasn’t problems with the sport. There are plenty of schools with tremendous facilities who put a ton of money in their programs and aren’t very good. Some in the same conference. These 2nd and 3rd stringers might get in the field earlier is my point. 
Pretty sure I never said certain schools didn’t have advantages.
