There's a few in here who completely butcher the language. I learned long ago there's no point in trying to correct them, they have no interest in learning. They quickly pass it off as "I was typing on my phone" or "What are you, the grammar police?" No, I just appreciate our language and spelling things correctly. Considering how easy it is to use a spell check, there's no excuse at all other than willful ignorance. It makes me sad.

Of coarse.

I usually have to edit out a type or two in longer posts. My brain thinks quicker than my fingers do.

Your company's attorney or a personal attorney?   I think he's just looking at your company, the business need for vaccines and the attitude of the employees towards vaccination.  There is some risk if you ask people and he might the risk isn't worth the ask.  There could also be some protection under PA state law that applies.  I don't think there's any issue asking.  I think the question is what you do with it.

So it's somewhat nuanced. Pre-employment data can be kept on race, ethnicity but they cannot keep it associated with your specific name. The EEOC does require some employers to track that kind of data.  You can also not answer those questions.  They can't ask about those things in an interview. Medical conditions can be asked if they would keep someone from doing a job.  You can ask about veteran status and age.  You can't discriminate based on those things in terms of hiring unless their medical condition, for example, keeps them from doing a job.

That's what my office currently does.

Yes company, and not asking, but demanding. You can ask but if they refuse to show you can't force them. All we have done is told them if they prefer not to show they just keep wearing a mask for now

Unsure what you mean by this? Take Pennsylvania for example. The voting of the entire state comes down to Philly. 98% of philly would be considered a 3rd world country if they were on there own. Violence and drug use are running rampant.  1 in 4 dont graduate high school. of them 35% dont even have a GED and yet they determine the ENTIRE states voting structure.

That's not blatantly racist, is it?

Of course, there's this perspective:  "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between.

In reality, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are balanced by "Alabama." Due to gerrymandering, the Republicans have a majority in the legislature.

However, the popular vote has swung Democratic because of the suburbs of those two cities, which are the highest income and highest educated counties in the state, along with the county with the Penn State main campus. Also, the Northeast is swinging back to the Democrats due to commuters from NYC who moved there for lower housing costs.

Yes, you're one of the ones filed under willful ignorance. That's not to say the odd mistake here or there isn't acceptable, of course it is. But you specifically don't seem to understand simple things like the difference between they're, their, and there. Or should have or could have, instead of should of or could of. These are basic grade 5 concepts.

You take away just the 1/4 of peiple from Philly who never graduated High school and the other guy wins.

Do have a complete and utter sh11t hole like philly determine a states election out come should be a serious issue.

Biden won 13 counties out of 67. Of those 13, all of them were in the top 10 of crime.

It's ironic, and funny honestly to lay the American Crime map over top of the election map and see how exactly perfect the fit.

side note, 3.4 million votes for Biden,  1/3 were Pittsburgh and Philly

Serious question here....you seem to enjoy crapping on Philly the city and the Eagles team a lot. Why exactly are you a fan?

Yea and states like Montana and Kentucky etc have as many senators as NewYork , Cali etc with no where near the population  , so what’s your point ?

I think you could demand it if there's a legitimate business purpose.  I think you can also make people wear masks if they don't provide it.  I think the question of if they say no can you fire them without consequence is probably one most companies are not looking to deal with at this point.

It's almost like people determine the outcome of elections and you have more crime where you have more people.  In any event, some might say a system where one candidate loses the popular vote but gets elected isn't democratic and good for the long-term stability of the country.  That party affiliation has become an identity to the point where belief about others and a person's own moral identity is subjugated to the party to the point that fellow citizens are now the enemy.  Some might even suggest that divisive nature of party politics has been exacerbated and intentionally manipulated by foreign powers as a proxy attack on our country.

But maybe I will take it to CVON....

I think the Raiders just didn’t want to pay him. There were reports back then that they were pretty cash strapped. Same thing with Khalil Mack.

Aye, they had cash flow issues, but a quick Google of his injury history hints at the constantly dinged up thing.

Heart inflammation cases in young men higher than expected after mRNA vaccines -U.S. CDC

You should compare the actual numbers vs. the risk of serious consequences of from actually getting the disease.  It may require some math but it appears the risk is about 16 in a million for heart inflammation and 81% of those with it fully recovered.  Your chance of death from Covid in that same age range I think is roughly 1% meaning about 10,000 in a million chance of dying.  The risk of death from the vaccine is still 0 for all ages.  10,000 is more of a chance than 16.

Interesting article for the worst QB's by throwing situations. I thought it was interesting how bad both Eagles QB's were with no blitz, pressure and in the pocket.

Quote

Against four or fewer pass-rushers in 2020, Carson Wentz completed 188 of 328 passes for 2008 yards, 1,266 air yards, 11 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and a passer rating of 72.6. When Wentz was cast aside in favor of rookie Jalen Hurts, things didn’t get any better. Hurts completed 55 of 110 passes for 778 yards, 450 air yards, two touchdowns, four interceptions, and a passer rating of 64.1.

Quote

As Wentz and Hurts struggled when they weren’t blitzed, they also came up short when they weren’t pressured. From a clean pocket, Wentz completed 194 of 295 passes for 2,053 yards, 1,244 air yards, 12 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a quarterback rating of 85.3. Hurts had a rating of 85.1 without pressure, completing 56 of 93 passes for 692 yards, 324 air yards, three touchdowns and two picks. A passer rating in the 85s sounds like a pretty good deal, but when you consider that 21 starting quarterbacks had a passer rating over 100 without pressure last season, it doesn’t quite work out.

Quote

And when in the pocket, neither Wentz nor Hurts were successful on a consistent basis. Wentz completed 216 of 368 passes for 2,266 yards, 1,351 air yards, 12 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, and a passer rating of 76.2. Hurts’ passer rating of 79.9 came about via 63 completions on 106 attempts for 780 yards, 395 air yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Sounds like a problem with the offensive scheme not the qb.

Doug's O was super predictable and vanilla and convoluted.

Hopefully Siriani and his OC do a better job than the eleventy billion offensive assistants the eagles had last year.

The risk of death from COVID for the age group of 12-24 is not close to roughly 1%.  It's roughly 0.01%.
