Who will be the Eagles MVP in 2021?

Most improved?

Most disappointing?

Team record?

Hurts has pretty decent odds to win team MVP in the way Ty Detmer used to.  Between passing and rushing, he'll be a high percentage of the total yards on offense, players like him...so despite being a total liability at the position, he's my pick for team MVP.  Sanders is a very close second in odds.

Improved?  I'm hoping it's Reagor.  I'm expecting either Goedert or Mailata, growing into their roles as unquestioned top dog at their positions.

Disappointing?  If Reagor doesn't break out, he's an easy pick here too.

Record 6-11

Who earned those titles in 2020?

MVP?   umm...Graham/Cox/Kelce/Slay/Sanders were the only starters on the team who were better than average.  Throw a dart and pick one.

Most improved?  Mailata.

Disappointing?  Everyone, but Wentz runs away with it.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Is Greg Ward the best #4 receiver in the NFL or of all time?

Sanders -- is the offense.

Mialata -- pro bowl selection.

Hurts -- I just don't see him becoming a legitimate franchise level QB. We draft a guy next season.

6 and 11 -- we'll win some games, keep a lot more close, but ultimately this isn't a good team.

Your company's attorney or a personal attorney?   I think he's just looking at your company, the business need for vaccines and the attitude of the employees towards vaccination.  There is some risk if you ask people and he might the risk isn't worth the ask.  There could also be some protection under PA state law that applies.  I don't think there's any issue asking.  I think the question is what you do with it.

So it's somewhat nuanced. Pre-employment data can be kept on race, ethnicity but they cannot keep it associated with your specific name. The EEOC does require some employers to track that kind of data.  You can also not answer those questions.  They can't ask about those things in an interview. Medical conditions can be asked if they would keep someone from doing a job.  You can ask about veteran status and age.  You can't discriminate based on those things in terms of hiring unless their medical condition, for example, keeps them from doing a job.

That's what my office currently does.

ADA is going to present some interesting scenarios.  Not vaccinated by choice, probably no protections.  Vaccinated but immune compromised?  Probably protected and the accommodation is not having to work next to an unvaccinated person.  Unvaccinated but have proximity to coworkers or the public raises exposures for health care costs (huge for employers providing assistance with health insurance, sick time etc.) and liability exposures with customers as well as reputation exposure.  Just like employers can require greater participation from obese employees and smoker employees. I see absolutely no accommodation for most vaccination refusers in at will positions.

Greg Ward is going to be the second player to have a bust in the hall of fame be his hands instead of face. Koy Detmer obviously being the first.

Forget burning your tongue. 30-40 minutes after eating a hot pocket, you think you have to fart, and oops, that’s not a fart.

That’s the true risk.

Unfortunately after age 50 it isn't just Hot Pockets that cause that.

Since he’s our #1 WR, I’m filing that away as a trick question.

It sounds like Newman's issue was simple. He's not accurate enough as a thrower and while he has arm strength,  he can't hit the metaphorical side of a barn

Ertz would be an excellent fit in Buffalo.

While I have a high opinion of their OC, their scheme, and the way their young QB has developed...I'm not sure Allen has the stability between the ears or the precision in his game to avoid a post-breakout slump like we saw from Wentz.

A target like Ertz could go a long way for him.

True except Ertz didn't seem to keep Wentz from having a post breakout slump.

I think Allen will be fine, he's a gamer.

Not sure about Wentz I'm sure he'll do better in Indy than here last year but who knows.

I still think Ertz ends up staying this year, I can't see Howie conceding an trading him for a 4 th rounder.

Though I'm not sure having a disgruntled Ertz worth keeping around?

How does one sculpt a neck beard on a brass bust???🤔

Who's the most surprising team in the league this year? As in nobody expected anything from them, and they had pretty good success. Looking at last year, I'd say only the Dolphins really qualified even tho they just missed the playoffs.

Who's the most disappointing team? Last year, I'd think San Fran fits the bill. Or us.

I think this year, the Broncos actually could surprise, though they realllly need a QB. I think the most disappointing team this year will be the Packers. A lot of bad juju swirling around them, though their division is so easy they could coast to 10 wins easily.

A 4th round pick for Ertz would be a huge trade win for the Eagles.

What about Freddie Mitchell?   I already know the acceptance speech.

Trick question - it's the Colts but Wentz only plays 74% of the snaps.
