I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

As much as Ertz has meant to the eagles the last few years it's sad that he's going out on a low note.

Dude sulked like a little B all year then when the going got rough he and Wentz folded like cheap Wal Mart chairs then took their ball and went home.

Both are soft players, wouldn't suck so much if Ertz wasn't so Intregal to winning in 17,

He may just live long enough to see himself become  the villain.☹️

Don't be dragging Wentz into this convo, bro. The dude busted his arse all season until he got benched. Ertz didn't play from the get go.

Then where is Davion Taylor going to play?

Jokerz

Maybe he shouldn't have played like crap last year, maybe  more teams would want him and possibly be more willing to give up more.

I think Howie should give Ertz your number if he has complaints.

So you’re saying we upgraded our starting QB from last year?

Yet they both asked out when the season ended.

Neither wanted to stay and fix what they had a part in breaking, both just cried and bounced.

Good riddance to both, if one isn't part of the solution one is part of the problem and Ertz to this point is part of the problem.

This last season will forever change my opinion of Ertz, a guy who could have left  and remembered as a super bowl hero Instead he's going out like a chump.👎

Didn't our backup win the Super Bowl or did I dream that?

Way to discredit Foles, RTK Jr.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile court jester

Dude, #11 had no protection last year....wasnt his fault he sucked.

I'd be okay with that. Howie can pay me to take care of his dirty work too!

Well let's be honest how often did we really have a clean pocket last year with our Patchwork offensive line

Everything that is mentioned in here isn't a chance to take a shot at Wentz. He never cried or said boo to anybody, played as hard as he could and decided he didn't want to play under this regime anymore. He doesn't owe this organization anything and at the end of the day they decided to move him.

Ertz didn't play hard all season barely even tried, and because of that nobody is offering squat for him.

and people here think this management is happy with Hurts LOL

I find this is a remarkable comment. It's apparent that you're either: a) a troll looking to garner responses to gain some perverted satisfaction; or b) incredibly stupid.

If a), Well, you achieved some success as I'm responding now.

If b), Ummm, why the HELL would you think a team's signing of a backup to compete for a third quarterback spot when they only had two on the roster in advance of a training camp where you need multiple arms to throw passes would have anything to do with the team's starting quarterback, especially almost immediately after a draft where the team didn't feel the need to draft a single quarterback when they had multiple chances to do so and bypassed two "top" quarterbacks in the first round?

For your sake, I would hope it's a), but I'm not so sure.

The single play that stands out to me the most last year was against the Seahawks. I believe it was in the third quarter, although I'm not sure. The Eagles were moving left to right on the screen, from near midfield. What I remember was seeing Jack Driscoll coming out of the huddle, and I wondered why he was on the field. Then I saw them put Driscoll, Goedert, and another tight end (probably Rodgers) to the right of the right tackle. So the Eagles had five players on the line of scrimmage to the right of the center. And Jamal Adams blitzed from that side and came through untouched, forcing Wentz to unload the ball almost immediately.

That is what stands out to me about the cleanliness of the pocket last year.

And incur the largest dead cap hit in the history of the league, all because Carson got his feel bads hurt☹️ he might of been trying but he played like trash and when he got benched was miffed as if he was entitled to keep playing because he was the " Franchise"

Doug handled it poorly, Howie and Lurie handled it poorly as did Wentz, it was Fubar all around and Wentz isn't excused from that stench because he tried real hard.

Not sure if this is meant as a joke or not. In case not... That stat is specifically defined as having protection.

Probably right.

Who throws more TD passes this season, Flacco or Mullens?

I've said this a lot about Ertz and I'll say it again...his game has always been controlled finesse.  His body language, his brand of athleticism, and his playing style have never been explosive.

From our perspective, I think it's really hard to say he quit on the team.  Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but I can't really pretend to know.  The whole team went down in flames and the QB couldn't deliver the football, which happens to be the one thing Ertz is good at.

I'm not absolving him from blame, nor do I even want him back.  Heck...I was arguing to trade him last year.  But I'm not going to call him a quitter and I will look back very fondly on his time here.

the problem is people want to run their mouths and they never back it up.

I truly believe Mullens was signed to compete because they have ZERO faith in Hurts.

if they just wanted a 3rd QB to hold a clip board and learn they would of kept  Jamie Newman

Definitely was a surprising move for a QB3

I will call him a quitter and I still look back fondly on his contributions (in between quitting on the team)
