97.5 only has two good radio hots.  Devon Givens and Rob Maadi.  They have Devon stuck on the evening shift for years and they have Rob stuck on random weekend shift duties.  But they are both by far the two best on air talents for 97.5.

Mikey Miss is an absolute nutjob.  I have emailed him in the past during shows criticizing something he has said and he has flown off the handle telling me to come down to the station and fight him.

So your interactions with radio personalities are on Par with your interactions here...😄

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Listening to ESP talk about Hurts is pretty amusing because he clearly has no idea what he's even saying. The other day he was going on about how he's gets the ball out quick (when he had the longest time to throw in the NFL last year), how elite his arm is (when there's multiple short passes or ducks on film) and the cliche #1 excuse, he's actually very accurate his percentage is just hurt by throwaways.

Oh, and according to him this year is really just his rookie year basically, so we should keep that in mind throughout the season. When you gotta get your excuses started in June, you know you are in for something special come September/October.

He also has the Eagles winning 11games. Can't wait until the end of the season and we are roughly a 5 win team to see what he says then.

I don't think Howie should be making the decisions, I'm just saying the owner trusts him to do that, that's pretty bad.

I think Howie should be fired

Did someone report a post in the blog again? Lol

I don't know, I don't look at the reported post reports.

I'll throw 50 that Muillins gets one start this year.

1000 that he starts game 1 or you're not serious.

When I think of ESP this always comes to mind.

I don’t see the problem with Mullens as a backup , I would be ok with him as a number 2 QB .

By design one would think Hurts starts all 17 games if he stays healthy.  Flacco would be an "in case of emergency break glass" QB, where the only reason to put him in would be if Hurts is overwhelmed or not doing what Sirianni needs for some reason.  Sometimes a young QB gets pulled out of a game so he can watch and learn -- although that's a rarity in today's NFL

Mick Nullens is the future of the franchise.  The Eagles were just lucky to scoop him up 90 days into free agency.

He already took the "Hardest Worker in the Game" trophy from Hurts. Clearly he's QB1

Exactly, but his boss just won't do it. So my opinion has shifted more this year to Jeff.

Maybe Jeff will call him unstoppable too

Oops.

No one cares about that.  Its how you perform.  That's all I care about at least.

What would be the cap implications of cutting Flacco is Mullens looks solid?

His contract is fully guaranteed besides the incentives. He’s not going anywhere

2,3,1,4

The Eagles didn't try to trade up for Wilson, Howie kicked the tires and blanched at the price tag. That's due diligence for a GM.

The fact they had no interest in Lance and Fields at #12 tells you how they ranked them v Hurts, it would have been the "safe" move if they thought they were better than Hurts.

Hurts is in a great situation to succeed, top QB coaching, an athletic young receiving corp, RBs who can catch the FB, a top flight OL (if Brooks and Lane stay healthy, maybe the best in the NFL again). I don't care about 4 games last year in a screwed up situation with Toth and Pryor at OT and Reagor, Fulgham and Ward as your WRs. He showed in Oklahoma he can run a high tempo, high powered offense, will that translate to the NFL?  Who knows? He could fall on his face or be a top 10 QB.

However, it makes sense to gamble on Hurts if you thought Fields and Lance were meh. Why waste a 1st rd pick on a QB you don't think is top 20 when you already have a young QB you think is as good or better.

He definitely quit last season. You could tell when he put no effort in

I honestly don't think he did.  He's not someone who's typically bouncing around the field.  Do you think he wanted to have the worst year of his career in a contract year?

You could see the lack of effort when the ball was coming his way and during his routes

I had no interest in Lance at #12 either. If they even tried to draft him I'm guessing it would get rejected since he went #3 overall.

I’d be lying if I said I knew who Mullens was in that picture.  Couple of decent looking hens, though

Technically #3 is a Mullens

Where'd the Carolina RB wind up?  That kid can play.  Guess I'll google it.  Although I do like Gainwell and the Eagles have a long history of finding really good options others hadn't thought of.

Ah Denver got him. Hmmm . Not really a franchise I know anything about these days.

I was talking about Ertz...
