This all started because I said we won't win by 20 tonight.  I did not say it is impossible to win by 20 in the playoffs, I have been saying it is very difficult.  The further along you get in the playoffs, the tougher the competition is.  Can we win by 20 tonight?  Obviously it is possible and now that I said we won't, we probably will.  Then you look up stats from the first series where we played a team we should have swept and got involved.  Let's put into perspective.  Since you are obviously clueless about basketball, let's use hockey.  A sport you are "great" at analyzing.  You think the flyers would win by 6 goals in the second round?  Sure, it is possible but it is difficult to do and unlikely to happen.  Your top 5 goalie could also have 3 shutouts in a row.  That is also possible, yet unlikely.  

Yes, only real Sixers fans know that they are not referred to as the big 3.  National media does not know about the Sixers.  You might as well be on TNT sitting next to Shaq and Chuck because you sound equally as stupid.

Earlier today, I ran across an audio file that I downloaded a few years ago. It's an Australian Super Bowl talk show, talking about LII and interviewing various people. Some of them saying that they really want the Eagles to win, but they didn't see any way that they would beat the Patriots (or words to that effect). One (I think Tim Brown), even said that he thought that Foles would get rattled, being in such a big game. lol 

One person even said that if Brady has the ball in his hands at the end of the game, the Patriots win, hands down...

Ertz is older.  You keep the young one who can give you more years of service.  Don't see how they would trade Goeddert and keep Ertz.

You know he is the guy who did not watch the Sixers all year.  Now that is it being "forced down this throat" aka they are contenders, he has started to pay attention, or at least pretend to.  He is able to look up stats and search for old articles so that is something.  If they are able to win a championship, he will be at the parade telling all his friends how this is his favorite team.  He will get a Ben Simmons jersey and tout how he will go down as the Sixers greatest player of all the time.  And then in the off-season, Ben will get traded 😂

We missed the key window to trade Ben.  Could have kept Jimmy and got Kemba Walker.  But now he's been exposed and his value is not as high as it was a few years ago.  

Yeah I think last year or start of this year, his value was the highest.  His free throw shooting issues this playoffs and obviously lack of scoring will hurt his value.  Now we will have to tack on Maxey and maybe Shake plus a lot of 1st to get someone like Lillard.  There will be a lot other moves that can be made that can make this team better but hopefully we make one where we get a true scorer who can handle the load when Embiid is out/when we get deep into the playoffs.  Someone good enough that we can actually have "A Big 2".

6ers dont have a legitimate big 3. Harris hasnt even made an all star game, and Simmons hasnt really deserved to. But they did have the FEDS. And that was freaking marvelous. Till Fultz actually played his first NBA minute.

Who else remembers the Big 5 when it actually meant something? I loved watching local college basketball when I was a kid. Rooted for Penn. Rooted against the other four, especially Villanova. I still hate Villanova to this day. They're like the Dallas Cowboys to me.

I understand your view of Villanova. I shared it at one time but Jay Wright has won me over. I think they play beautiful basketball.

I saw Dr. J when he was at UMass, playing against Penn. He scored 36 and Penn still won. Saw David Robinson when he was at Navy. Scored 50 against Drexel at the Palestra and Drexel still won. Les Keiter. Tickled the Twine. Ring-tailed howitzer. Double-headers and every seat was close. Great great venue.
