The problem I always found with trying to change muscle memory is sometimes the more I concentrated on the issue the more my attempts to change made things even worse. Look at all the golfing "training equipment” on the market, for example. Not sure Simmons is fixable. 

Everything is fixable, it just requires will power, dedication, training and repetition.  In those heat of the moments times you revert to your training.  If you've trained wrong continually that's where your absent thought process reverts to.  I've spent the last 12 years training kids for those heat of battle moments, it all boils down to skill vs will.  Simmons is an all world athlete, it's not about skill.

The Sixers are lucky that Trae looks like a lost puppy/shark out of water right now.  You add a dominant #1 option to Atl and force Trae to become a volume #2 option and they're a hell of a team.
