I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Good for him.  Obviously not easy to do and could be professionally precarious.

OK, now play football.

We would have to happy with a bad trade with his contract.

Truly, after the past 2 weeks, we will have to give up assets and take back at least on shite contract to make the $$$ work.  Like dumping Horford again, only worse.

I'm pretty sure there will be growing chatter linking Simmons to the Lakers, the Rich Paul/Klutch connection is gonna be in full bloom.

Kuzma/Schroder S&T/draft pick package is my guess.

Wasn’t Nassib the dude giving terrible investment advice on Hard Knocks?

He was explaining compound interest and letting athletes know how easy it was for them to stay rich. I wouldn’t classify that as terrible advice.

A few have, but no one has even come out as gay and actually played in a regular season game after doing so.

That's a good point.

2 bench pieces and some draft picks. Not too appealing, but maybe realistic.

Why is this a big deal? The Dallas cowboys have been openly gay for decades…

Michael Sam but he was only on a practice squad for a year

He was on the team and played snaps but I guess it doesn't count

Per glazer

Rams head coach Sean McVay on his new QB, Matthew Stafford...

"Bro, this dude’s a bad MF-er. Whatever people say about him, as good as it can be, he’s even better than advertised....”

No, that's so shortsighted.

Shortsighted?   No.  He can’t be back.  Period.  There’s been plenty of time not to be shortsighted.  Times up.  He can’t be around.

He's not going to be back for another post season that's for sure.

But you can absolutely bring him back for the start of the season and let him rehabilitate his value from the lowest point it has ever been following that disastrous series.  Ben Simmons can get his triple doubles during the season and continue his All NBA 1st Team Defense play and play at the All Star level during the regular season and that will raise his value around the league knowing he isn't stuck at the rock bottom that he showed in the eastern semi-finals.

There is no negative in doing that to help the Sixers facilitate a better trade.  Trading him now at his absolute lowest value for garbage in return servers the Sixers no benefit whatsoever.  Unless Morey is able to pull off a good trade this offseason to bring in a player(s) that will help this team contend immediately then they need to hold off and hope that Simmons can reclaim some of his value during the first few months of the season and then try to flip him for something of quality before the deadline.

Are they planning on changing the offense since they don't have Goff anymore?

He never made a team or played regular season snaps. He was cut by St Louis at final cut down then spent 6 weeks on Dallas PS and then was out of the league

I was including preseason snaps

Not sure why they would change the offense.  Maybe the thing that changes is not needing McVay to break down the defense pre-snap into the QB's headset every play.  But it's a creative offense and I think them staying an offense that is sure to lean on the running game will be beneficial to Stafford who has never had a good running game at any point in his career in Detroit.
