Depends what your standards are.

Mcvay had the first double digit win season in 20 years. They have 8 playoff appearances in 30 years, 3 are with Mcvay.

Mcvay doesnt value Interior O-Linemen or Draft picks and it plisses purist off but yet he's had 3 top 10 offenses with one of the lower tier QB's in the league.

They definitely improved but when your crowning achievement is 3 points in a SB, I can't say that their method of roster building has worked. He'll have this year to prove it though.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I believe NO would’ve beaten us in 2017. We needed to play ATL and MIN to get to the Super Bowl, but it doesn’t matter. NO lost. We won.

Not gonna happen with Stafford.  I'll believe it when I see it (and I'm predicting we won't see it)

I think it's clear a lot of that was how awful Goff was.  BB knew once that headset cutout to allow McVay to breakdown the defense for Goff and then the Patriots quickly switched up it exposed how Goff can't read a defense on his own.

Fat Man looked pretty good when he got Mahommes

I was talking about the Rams...

Anyway, if you are comparing that to McVay getting Stafford, like I said they will have a chance to prove it all was the right move. But you can't crown them before they actually do it on the field.

No, I would say there crowning achievement is becoming relevant(favorites this year) in the hardest division in football.

Don't get me wrong they **** the bed in the superbowl but they were the laughing stock of the NFL for a Majority f the 2000's and 2010's.

Mcvay's 43 wins in 4 years are 2nd most over that span to the Chiefs and are more tha the 10 previous years by the Rams.

As I mentioned before, Mcvay gets a lot of unwanted hate from Philly fans. I think the dudes the real deal.

Clearly he's a good coach. But he could have just as good or better team if he built through the draft vs trying to win a championship. Trading away all your firsts in multiple consecutive years gets you there faster but hampers you long term. I don't think there is a "correct" way to build a team, it's just all dependent on circumstances and situations. But if all their approach gets them is 5 years of relevance and 1 bad SB trip, I would have a hard time saying it worked overall.

Yeah...their blueprint isn't one that I'd like to follow.  But I do think they could easily get to the SB this year.  The NFC is very weak.  It feels that we aren't far removed from everyone talking about how deep the NFC is with good teams.  I just don't see it.  LA, TB.  That's it.

As an aside, WTF has the makings of a pretty impressive team.  Ignoring QB for a second, that's one of the better rosters in the conference.  Elite defense, some pretty impressive weapons on offense...I'm not fully up to speed on the state of their OL, but I'll assume it needs some work...but no QB and no prospects of getting one, since they lack the resources and draft positioning.  If they didn't beat us in the toilet bowl last year, they could have drafted a QB.  Mac Jones with their weapons and their defense???  That might be a scary team in a year or so.  Instead...purgatory.

If we had to play NO at their house in the playoffs then they probably would have beat us.  But the Eagles had home field in 2017 and we all know the Saints arent as good away from the Superdome.

There was something special about that team, I don't think anyone was stopping them after the Falcons game.

They should change the spelling to LiLII.

I didnt think that way.  Squeaking by the Falcons I still wasnt confident.  Even when the Vikings marched down and made it 7-0 early I started thinking this is it.

Wasnt until after the Vikes blowout I started believing.  NE was a good team obviously but their defense was suspect all year.

I think the hate from Philly fans comes from the fact that he won coach of the year when Doug clearly deserved it over him. Also the media talked about him as if he was the biggest genius ever and still our Eagles beat him every time that mattered.

I personally think he's a good coach but he's also overrated.

I don’t think we had the offense to compete with the Saints tbh, but Foles was on something that week in the 2nd and during the super bowl. So maybe it wouldn’t have mattered, but either way…We won. The Saints couldn’t get past the Vikings. Not much to say beyond that. Get gud.

That’s 100% it. McVay is a great coach and made it work with Jared Goff. If McVay wanted to coach the Eagles, we’d be insane to turn him down. They’re going to be scary with Stafford.

It will be fun.  I like Mailata as he reminds me of a young peters that is bigger and more athletic.  And he seems to have that want to hit and punish defenders.  Dillard reminds me more of Tra- big guy but more of a finesse LT.  I hope Mailata makes it an easy decision to play him.

I'll tell you what I think the best outcome is... Both ball out and there's nothing to split them. So Dillard starts and Mailata moves across to RT. For this year he'd be a good swing tackle.

Do you think Seumalo could anchor the OL of the future and slide to C, or will they groom Dickerson for that role?

If Kamara is worried about 1 non call he's an idiot.

More importantly, why do the four points stolen from the Saints matter and the four points stolen from the Rams not matter?

I felt the same way during the time too. But with the benefit of hindsight and with how everything played out, I think they would have beat the Saints.

Because the saints are a bunch of beyotches , with the biggest beyotch coach of all time, and all the fans are beyotches too.

Can I clear anything else up for you?

I mean, Minnesota had a great defense and we rang up 31 points from our offense. If Nick Foles played that way, we were beating anyone that night. Saints would have scored more than 7, sure. But we still would have won.

Foles went into God-mode for 2 games and won us a Super Bowl.

To be honest no I don't. I'm not sure the C of the future is on the roster right now but I guess it may be Dickerson.

Seumalo will not be the center of the future.  Everytime they try him there during camps there are reports of him struggling.  Dickerson is the guy if he can stay healthy.

Talent-wise, Dickerson is already one of the best centers in the NFL. The only question is durability.
