I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Until we hire a coach?

JJAW apparently was a Lurie pick...

I was a huge Metcalf fan — wanted him in the first round at the time of the pick. But it’s likely that Metcalf wasn’t on the Eagles board or was ranked much lower in the draft because of the injury.

I think they would have taken the chance if they didn't fail on the Jones draft earlier. Can't draft a guy with a neck issue if you were just burned by a knee injury IMO

Agreed.

It’s wild that we have to keep having this conversation in here.

Me too.

I also heard the reason he wasn't on their board was because of medical reasons.

Say what?!

The irony is that some of the vets that Pederson may have "lost" when they pulled Hurts will soon realize their best chance of remaining in an Eagles uniform was with Pederson as the head coach.  (Careful what you wish for.)

All this talk about a DK injury but not one link

Prince won’t even be here on a futures contract it appears.

I actually liked Toth last year as a developmental OT prospect. Bringing him back he’s likely that. Sadly we lost a year of his development as he went to the cardinals and they have no clue what they are doing with OLinemen

And Lurie and Howie will be picking the players in the rebuild, as well as the new HC.

Doug was fired for wanting to win and fix problems on the team.

Makes sense.

Yeah wanting to win and fix problems by giving promotions to the assistants who lead the team to a 4-11-1 record and not bringing in any outside guys. Makes total sense.

Just saying back in mid February before the combine and i mentioned DK metcalf as a guy i would like at 25 in that draft. The amount of ridicule i got because of his neck injury was through the roof and people didn’t want him due to that. So this wasn’t a everyone wants DK until he blew up the combine with his 40.

i was not upset about not taking DI. I was pissed off they took JJAW instead of one of the many safety’s available when they needed to replace Malcolm and mcleod soon and JJAW was the exact opposite of what they needed at WR.

I agree Doug's choices weren't good either, but the inconsistency here is baffling.  Doug was criticized for tanking, then wants to fix the team and win in 2021 and fired so they can... tank and rebuild.

Doug’s choice were that cause he knew lurie wouldn’t agree to those choices cause they were ridiculous.  he knew he’d be gone and free to get a job where he didn’t get pushed around by lurie and howie. That was the ultimate ultimatum he gave the eagles. It basically was fire me or allow me this power. We all knew what lurie was going to say to that garbage coaching staff.

Eskin is fired up.  I don't think I've ever heard him refer to the Eagles organization like this...like ever...(Eskin has usually defended the Eagles and their decisions historically)

Well if eskin said that then i agree with the decision even more. Eskin is notoriously wrong. ESP trying to walk in his footsteps.

You know things are bad when Eskin is ripping the Eagles.

He said he talked to someone on the Chiefs(probably Reid, they're friends) and he said there's no chance anyone on the Chiefs comes here with how much of a mess the Eagles are.

Jeff Lurie is letting his team collapse before our eyes.

He said he doesn't think anyone of note will want to come here.

Blame the coach that wasn't allowed to pick his own assistants.

It's just odd because I've been listening to Eskin ever since Lurie purchased the team and he's almost always sided with the Eagles' brass.

That should make some people happy who didn’t want anyone from the reid coaching tree.

Is ESP off his knees yet from blowing Jordan Matthews?

The fact that even Andy Reid (could likely) be upset with the way things have been handled is eye opening.

And you know Andy Reid is upset how?  Why would Reid even take a call from Eskin or any other Philly media while preparing for a playoff game?
