If Jalen Hurts does not exceed whatever Carson Wentz does in Indy, it is a massive indictment on the Eagles FO.  If Carson wins a Super Bowl, Jalen has to win a Super Bowl, if Carson gets to the conference championship game, Hurts has to do the same.  If Jalen Hurts does not have a better career than Carson does in Indy, it was a massive fail by the Eagles front office, Howie Roseman specifically.

Everything I've read says that Wentz has a better supporting cast in Indy than he had in Philly the last couple years. If Wentz looks better in Indy, it may not be all on Wentz. If you're referring to the massive fail being the failure by Howie/the FO to draft better, that seems pretty clear.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I disagree that he left all that money on the table. Because he knows what most of the pros dont. When you win and stay on a high level you will make more money in endorsements, movies, tv etc over the remainder of your life then you will in the game. All these players wanting top money and results in the destruction of their team just cant understand that concept.

I personally, don't like Brady but I respect him, his game and his thought process.

He is the reason  the Bucs could bring every single starter back , team friendly contract

The defense stopped Brady more than once. There was just 1 time it was impressive. That said Foles played the best he ever has in that game.

If you count field goals, then yes they did.  Outside of that the Pats didn't punt a single time.

Yup, also doesn't hurt that his wife probably makes more than he does. He might be leaving NFL money on the table but the guy has plenty of money, he isn't sacrificing anything

Hurts has 17 games to show he's the guy. We'll know in January. Patience.

She makes $40M a year and has a net worth of $400M.

I hope it’s clear by then. Last thing we need is a middle of the pack QB.

Nick Mullens had elbow surgery in January.  "Not as serious as Tommy Johns”.  Still a concern. If he can’t throw next month, he has limited value.  I suspect Howie may be working to sign a camp arm.

He’s not even a Hall of Famer

Are we comparing KG Jr and BB the total players or just as hitters?  Before he bulked up, BB was pretty good in the field but I don't think he even compares to KG when it comes to playing in the outfield.

Growing up, the premiere outfielders IMO were Griffey, Kenny Lofton, Bo Jackson and Andruw Jones (I know a little later in the decade and 2000s).  Bonds is up there and it's easy to forget his time in Pittsburgh before he bulked up so much.

Didn’t you just say earlier today that you don’t trash Hurts? Lol.

Everything should be evaluated in its totality.  If it’s strictly hitters then the discussion doesn’t need to go any further than Ruth, Gehrig and Ted Williams.

The point is, Bonds was/is a fraud and everyone in baseball knew it.  There are no great frauds

My top hitter is Ichiro. He could’ve easily surpassed 4000 hits if he was in the league at a young age.

You would think/hope they would have known this prior to signing him.

It was wonderful for MLB to have Ichiro come over to play.  Great ambassador for the game in Asia and a great all-around player.  Really good defensively, great arm, great speed, great instincts.
I always thought of him as the Asian equivalent of Roberto Clemente

What percentage of people do you think will be waiting until January before making their own decisions?

When did Brady cheat to win 7 Super Bowls ? And don’t give me footballs deflated , last I checked both teams use the same football

The majority will have made up their mind after the first series in Atlanta.

That’s a funny way of saying preseason game 1

Same shape of ball, I guess ….

Saw the Phillies lost 12-4 and thought to myself "at least the bullpen didn’t blow that one” when, in fact, they did — leading 4-2 in the 7th inning.

I wonder how long before MLB puts in a mercy rule …

Yup one could argue there were receivers with better athletic traits like Moss or Megatron but Rice did more than everyone else by a wide margin no matter if he was a super freak or not.

I'd put Megatron/Fitz/Rice on the same level.  Moss slightly below that.
