Yeah.  He's only saying what would be obvious, if you're not a blind homer fool.  Guy is a joke of a hire.  Of course paid pro athletes are going to question the guy in charge of a major sports franchise when he uses RPS as a way to see how competitive they are.  Open your eyes.  I predicted this 3 months ago.

But NOOOOO.  Michael Robinson is clueless and you have all the answers.  You want to "listen to the players", like you have the ability to hear from as many players as he.

The guy only threw this out to start controversy a day after Lane spoke well of the head coach.

There could be players who question him as it would happen with any new coach. However, players aren’t rushing to Michael Robinson to say this stuff. Why would they? That wouldn’t make sense. Especially to him. It’s controversial and a distraction. If these players were so worried about how the team is run then it would be counter productive to their agenda.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Are there players that question him? Probably. Are they players that matter? Maybe

Players and former players have relationships.  I am sure Michael Robinson has a relationship with Miles Sanders as Penn State alums.  To discredit what Robinson is saying is foolish.

Robinson doesn't even specify when he heard it from the alleged names. He could have reached out after the hiring and that was their initial reaction. It's a vague report, so who knows. I wouldn't say it's completely false or made up though.

It could even be Ertz talking ish while waiting to get off the team, who knows.

Michael Robinson. He is full of it. He is just saying this with no proof at all. He hates the Eagles. I’ll go with what the actual players are saying.

Wasnt he from Penn St?  Might be close with Miles Sanders who could saying something.

I think its natural for some players to be skeptical of a new, unproven HC.  Sirianni is going to have to prove himself and gain trust among those that doubt him.

If he can keep it up over 10 years he'll be knocking on Jerry RIce's door. Then we can have a real debate about GOAT WR's. Ward > Rice.

All time top #4 WR ever in the history of the NFL.

Really - Hardees are always empty and their burgers are meh.  I kind of thought they are some sort of money laundering front.

Seems like this high school gossip BS happens quite a bit with the Eagles.  I wonder if this is the case for other teams.  Last couple years there was some players saying things anonymously to the media about our former QB who is now in Indy.

I'm sure there are some players that are skeptical of him.  It's natural to think like that and there's nothing wrong with feeling that way but running to the media just creates distraction.

Obviously.  But try convincing the blind homers that.

I watched "Intervention" last night.  There was a mother who would just pretend nothing was wrong.  She would show the daughter where the booze was and just tried to make everyone happy and didn't want any drama.  Then there was the stepdad that was like, No....F this.  This needs to be addressed and fixed.  Just because the stepdad didn't enable the drunk daughter doesn't mean he didn't want the best for her, or didn't want her to get help and get fixed............There is a group of members in this blog and in the fan base that are the enablers.  And point to us stepdads as negative and always picking things apart.

Truth is........We want what's best for this team and want this team to get better and get the help it needs.  Being passionate about that doesn't mean we don't love this team.  It's quite the opposite.  But these blind defensive homers are like the enabling moms, showing the daughter where the booze is and telling everyone to be happy and get along.  Rather than seeing this all for what it is......a dysfunctional team.

Was that on Lifetime?

I’m not a blind Homer. I have criticized the Eagles for plenty in the past. Chip, Bradford, Wentz, Demarco Murray, Dawkins, the corner situation, not running the ball, screens to greg ward, etc.

Criticizing the new coach before he even has his first training camp isn’t one of them. It’s your thing, it’s stupid negative, but to each their own.

This Robinson thing is bull and doesn’t make since IMO. It fits your agenda on the Siri hate so you are defending it all the way. I get it.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say Robinsons source could be miles Sanders because they both went to Penn St ten years apart

More than likely Robinsons source is his bung hole.

Another thing to keep in mind, is Robinson isn’t claiming players hate him and want him run off already. He’s just saying some question his ability to lead. Question.

Having doubts about a young, and inexperienced guy is simply not a far fetched idea. I’ll also go back to what I said earlier. In a room of 90 people, it’s a lot more far fetched to believe they all have the exact same opinions, than to believe a few have differing thoughts.

And I don’t say this as someone who hates the hire at all. I’m interested in seeing what he brings to the table and how he grows, (or doesn’t) with this team.

Consider. The. Source.

Anyone who watches NFL Network with any regularity knows Michael Robinson is an idiot.  He wouldn't have a job there if their other analysts didn't keep getting fired for harassing females.

Just because what he says feeds into a narrative you want to push doesn't mean he's "plugged in".  There would be players on the Falcons, Lions, Jets, and every other team with a first year coaching staff who haven't bought-in yet; doesn't mean it's news worthy of being reported on NFLN.
