I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Could be Michael crabtree’s house....

That’s disappointing about Sherman. Kind of hard to believe, but I don’t think we ever had a shot at him.

It’s Richard Sherman

🚨 🚨 For the why haven't we signed a corner crowd 🚨🚨

Eagles are still going to need additional cap space for the season.  They currently have 3.19 million in space.  Landon Dickerson has not signed his rookie deal, so that takes 1.57 million, and when the season starts and you add player 52 and 53, that is another 1.7 million.  That would have the Eagles over the cap week 1, plus you have to account for any players placed on IR, and any mid season moves they make.

I don’t care about CB2 as I think this is a lost season anyway, but you can put me in the "why the hell are we still holding onto Ertz and letting it hamper the cap” crowd.

The charge sounds worse than what happened. So far it's been said he tried to force his way into a family members house, cops showed up, Sherman fought them (idiot) and got arrested, but the only person injured was Sherman who got checked out at a hospital before being booked.

Hard to believe?  How?  LOL

Sherman had a 4.0 from Stanford and has never been in trouble before. This definitely seems out of character for him.

Getting rid of Ertz (hopefully trade) and other players like Barnett would help with cap space. Who else is a potential cap casualty? Cox could probably bring in a day 2 pick.

49er's website said he had a 3.7 at Stanford, majoring in communications.  If the team website says 3.7, it was probably 3.5.  The curve boost available to D1 scholarship athletes probably makes it more like a 3.3 for anyone else.  And the fact that it's a communications major makes it more like barely above 3.0 in the grand scheme of college academics...still 99.9% better than most pro athletes.

It's, "ish or get off the pot" time regarding Ertz and Barnett.  Although I thought trading Cox was a good idea.  I just don't see it happening now

The Ertz situation is puzzling. I understand Howie is being stubborn but enough is enough. Trade Ertz and a pick if you need to because they have zero room to operate.

Didn’t they tell Ertz that Goedert is 1st on depth chart? Thought I read that somewhere.

Sherman cheap shotting Trubisky and then throwing fists with two other WR's.

Can't believe he has any temper and would ever do anything like domestic violence.

I have a retail food service location which prior to the pandemic sold fried chicken for 30 years. We were trying to transition away from it prior because of inventory, menu orientation, etc. My food salesman is pretty well connected and sells to Specs in Collegeville who does a huge fried chicken business. Royal Farms opened around the corner and didn’t impact Specs’ #’s at all. Reason? RF sells a different product. Marinated and brined. Specs buys fresh chicken and pressure brines it.

That said, our cole slaw is the best around. We were featured at the Nov ‘19 Taste of Philadelphia Food Show at the Valley Forge CC. We were about to have it in Giant markets, took samples to Giant corporate in Carlisle in Feb 2020. They asked how many stores would we like to be in, then March 2020 happened. About time to revisit although I’m not sure with all of the supply chain and employment issues it’s even feasible right now.

I love Cole slaw.

I try to make some at least once a week.

That was one of the least surprising reports I've ever seen.  Surprised it hasn't happened until now.

Aaron Hernandez made honor roll. Can't believe he would ever kill someone.

Re Ertz...

I understand that it's a big discussion point because Ertz is an all-time Eagle great.  So the situation is monitored with great interest.  But you guys do realize that, aside from the optics...and purely from a pragmatic standpoint...the Ertz situation is almost completely irrelevant.

We are talking trading Ertz for a 6th or 7th round pick in 2022...MAYBE a conditional 5th in 2023 at best.  If he stays and plays, we are talking about a #2 TE who does not block and likely produces about 400 yards and 1-3 TDs.  That also means the comp pick after he walks, for the 2023 draft, is a 6 at best.

So we are talking about negligible draft capital, either way, and negligible production, either way.

It doesn't even matter what they do at this point.  If it weren't for his name and legacy, the weight of this decision wouldn't even register on the awareness of the media or the boards.

Not sure what getting a 4.0 at Stanford has to do with anything concerning Sherman.

There are plenty of people that do well in school and break lots of laws, most of them are politicians though

I looked at the a few times and it didn't appear that Sherman was the one who hit Trubisky after he slid.  But he runs in from out of camera just to start throwing punches.

You're right. It was some other dude with dreads. The guy that hit him probably had a 2.5 gpa

On the field/off the field are different. I’m sure you guys know that.
