Didn’t Mayo play for the Pats just a few years ago? Hell, you could have told me he was playing and I wouldn’t have disagreed. He can’t be much older than 30

He’ll be 35 next month.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Mayo seems like an ideal DC option. Smart, has major credibility from his playing career, would likely run multiple fronts here to maximize personnel.

I believe he's only been coaching for 2 years.

I didn’t post it at the time because we still had a head coach, but last week Ibread that Arthur Smith’s interviews weren’t going all that well. A lot of times that’s been code for having a bad coaching staff lined up.

The phrase "The fact" or "As a matter of fact", when the entire conversation is based on an opinion/theory, yes.  Like this:  "As a matter of fact, I would guess that phrase is used more often as a figure of speech than it is used to state something that is 100% factual."  In American vernacular, it often used to put emphasis on a statement.  So if your entire conversation leading up to that statement is based on opinion/theory, when you use the phrase "the fact", it is putting emphasis on your opinion/theory (because in your opinion it is a fact).

Like this?  The fact is your intention was not your eloquent defense above.  Nonetheless, I think we all want the same things; Howie gone, better draft picks, good coaching and good QB play.

I will challenge McLane on this:   In the Eagles (former?) system, Greg Ward was the slot... Greg Ward got the most snaps... Greg Ward got the most targets... Greg Ward had the most receptions...

Tell me how slot isn't a volume position?

So am I.  Duh.  I don’t hunt, though.  I wouldn’t be becoming of the EIC.

Call me when they start eating your shrubs. I'll do the dirty work for you.

Miami taking a QB at #3 would be very helpful.

I think you’re ignoring the obvious with Reagor, Alshon and DJax all hurt, not to mention Ertz. At full strength, do you think Ward has the most targets or most receptions on a team that loves 12 personnel?

I’m not so sure. If we want to trade down with the most leverage, we need Sewell or a QB to fall.

Because we love TEs and to run 12 personnel. So in our system, you're looking at Agholor 2017/2018.

These two statements are completely incongruous, but have at it. Unless you're stating it's a fact that you're just guessing at the rest of the drivel you've written.

Please no to any Patriots coach for HC. You wanna bring in Mayo to be a DC, sure I can get on board with that. But Belichek coaches almost never turn out well.

He’s making a disingenuous argument.

True.

I guess the dream scenario is somehow Parsons going top 5. That guarantees one of Sewell-3QBs-Chase to #6.

That would be amazing.

That's not cool. I believe everything I read on the internet.

Hot take on Doug. He sits the year out McCarthy gets the can at the end of this year and Doug coaches the Cowboys.

And Wentz gets his revenge on Doug by beating him 2 x a year.

Worst case you are sitting at six staring at Devante Smith

Ive been playing around with draft simulations. A trade back could be a profitable situation but yuge risk then of missing the top two wr

Three most important positions

qb ot and de

it all about players than can make an impact on the passing game today

i wish there was a chase young in this draft but there just isnt. There are some mid round guys i like. Barnett depends on price and length of deal
