What's funny is that everyone thought with all that talent that Bucs would blow the conference out of the water and be the 1st seed

Well they are the most balanced team in the nfc.....

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Hey guys.   Where are all the tweets praising Hurts today?

I'm looking for Roob's tweet about how if we extrapolate last nights game over a full season Hurts stat line would be

144/432 for 1,536 yards 0 TD's and 21 INTs but can't seem to find it.

OMG are we really bringing back Alshon ????????????????????????????????????????

Speed is grossly overrated in WRs, so is size, Metcalf is one of the few to be successful, and that may be as much scheme and a QB who can buy time for him to get deep.

The two keys to WR success, crisp route running to gains separation and strong hands/eye to hand coordination to snatch balls and finish the catch.

The problem judging QBs and WRs is the spread, you match up a top college WR against CBs who run 4.65 with stiff hips and they all look great. Then they get to the NFL and are matched up against much better athletes in man coverage, and have to read various zones to identify the soft spots and learn how to time their routes to get there at the right time.

Most mocks I've looked at this morning have Pitts going to Carolina at pick 8. I gotta say, that makes a ton of sense to me.

That being said, most mocks seem to have us taking Parsons, which doesn't make sense.

I don't know exactly what that means or entails, but with Howie at the controls, you can be sure it doesn't bode well for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 salary cap.

Not necessarily. It says it forces them to make a decision sooner on them which gives them time to catch on somewhere else. It would be stupid bringing them back.  Anything is possible though the way Howie has been lately.

What does Alshon have on Howie? I mean come on already...

Small and slow.  Got it.

That blueprint worked out great for KC.

Why would a top DC candidate want to come to a team whose HC is on a 1 year leash?

So they can take over the HC spot when Doug is inevitably fired/quits? 4d chess!

Multi-year extension, baby.  :groovy:

Now, let's get one done for DJax as well.

I feel like every year people mock Linebackers to the eagles in the first round and they just never learn.

Pitts makes a ton of sense if there’s no QBs left on the board. I actually think Carolina is a team that makes a ton of sense to try and trade up with Miami or atlanta if they love Wilson or trey lance

Just wait till they do the same with Djax.

Restructure to cut or trade?

No Fing way they keep Alshon for the next season

Alshon to bulk up in the offseason and work on blocking.... Replace Ertz at TE.

Don't leave Peters disgruntled when we only bring him back on a 1 year deal.

Tripling down on 12 personnel is exactly what we need to do right now.  Let's extend Goedert and draft Pitts.

Idk there was a strong strong contention of people who wanted to move up to get ruggs at all cost. There was belief early in the process he could fall to 21 but as the draft process went on it seems less and less likely.

I believed a couple weeks prior to the draft he was going to be the first WR taken off the boards cause of the 40 he ran and some team would do what the raiders did with Bey years ago. That always tends to happen with receivers who run fast 40s. I’m surprised lamb and jeudy fell to where they did in the draft but i wasn’t shocked at all that ruggs went first nor that it was the raiders that made that move.

I don't remember anyone saying move up to get Ruggs at all cost, but maybe  I missed it. I do agree Ruggs after the combine was rising up the board. From how I remember it, Jeudy/Lamb was a pipe dream and Ruggs was the guy until he moved up into that pipe dream level, then most people turned to Jefferson.

Imagine if Desean and Alshon come back and then Kelce retires.....

I like room for different things but he is the biggest nut huggers of whoever’s at quarterback and playing well at quarterback at that time. Dating back to mcnabb at the end of his tenure. he was the same way. He jumped all aboard the Kevin kolb trained then bailed for Vick. Pumped up Vick in 2010 then completely bailed for foles. It’s routine for him to hype up the current guy then completely abandon ship as soon as he has a bad game or two.

I think we're saying Pitts to Carolina makes sense, not to us.

For Carolina? They legitimately have no tight end on that roster of any value. Add on there’s also no OL worthy at 8. Makes a ton of sense if he’s the best player available for Carolina. I never said for the eagles.

Don't forget about Sproles, they can probably talk him out of retirement to handle punt returns. Of course he'll need a 4 year contract with 4 years of inflated cap hits.

Yawn. They restructured them, big Fing deal.

All this is doing is Howie putting out the fires he himself started. Not gonna give Howie credit this offseason for fixing his own mess, sorry. He'll get credit once he starts drafting well for multiple seasons in a row. He can't rebuild his reputation in one offseason for all the damage he's done.

Not that he deserves to anyway. He needs to be gone immediately.
