I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

alright...give me Duce as the HC, the QB couch from the Bills as are OC, and the secondary coach from the Rams as our DC and im good

I heard their QB couch was nice.  Think it reclines too.

Even back when he was arlingtonfan Ive never seen him be rude or disrespectful to anyone.

I respect him for that and cant understand why some people react to him like hes an Ahole. He just has an opinion like anyone else.

Having good natured dialogue with differing opinions is something we should want in here.

Not everyone likes their opinions/beliefs being challenged. Why one would then choose to come on a message board where that's basically all that happens is another story.

How many wins do you get for social justice initiatives?  Im sure the NBA could find a spot for him

Some things are bigger than wins...

He probably deleted it because he realized they can’t

Point is there is so much fake news mixed in there with real stories you dont know which one is creditable anymore. Social media has ruined it for us with all the click bait articles.

Nah humans ruined it by not reading past headlines

He specializes in 3-4 right? Do the eagles have the personnel to switch?

Saleh is a good hire for the Jets; I’m sure the Eagles were intrigued, but he’s not the right coach for the current Eagles circumstances.  I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jets called him and upped their contract offer, knowing if they strike out on him and Bienemy turns them down then they’re stuck.

Two names not mentioned yet that I hope the Eagles request for HC interviews — Pete Carmichael Jr. and Greg Roman

I couldn't/wouldn't care if the best candidate was a Martian, a Vulcan or an actual Dolphin, as long as we hire the best candidate for the job at hand based on their abilities.

And in an ideal, utopian society, that is exactly what would happen. But we don't live in that society. We live in the one that has discriminated against POC with an equal or better resume, especially women of color. One day hopefully these things aren't needed because people are hiring based solely on ability.

That makes no sense. Our offense is much better suited for a running scheme than a passing scheme. Our OL is at its best run blocking and our RB has one of the highest YPC in the league. Our defense has a great DL and if we use our top 2 picks on 2 defensive studs like a CB to go with Slay and a S or LB suddenly this defense is pretty damn good on paper. If the play action pass with a good running will fix Wentz like you said it did for Tannehill then all of a sudden this team isn’t bad at all.

The Team is 70 million over the cap. Wait till the dust settles before you determine how good this Dline and Oline is.

Not to mention the age on the Oline and Dline

Bienemy is so overrated. I’m not shocked he hasn’t landed. Normally when a team with such high offensive output like KC’s coordinators are gone within a year maybe two this guy has been the OC since Doug left and still hasn’t landed a job.

I don’t even know if it’s that so much. People are just tired of the spin he tries to put to everything the Eagles do that have led to where they are like it was a good decision then and at the time was a good idea. instead of just being like  sometimes you know what they Fed up. Like I don’t need the Dave Spadaro, jeffery lurie or howie roseman spin on everything the Eagles did to try to make it look like it was smart, was good logic or buying every single thing the eagles say to us. Sometimes I don’t even think the Eagles believe some of the crap they tell us.

Sometimes the Eagles just Fed up and you need to call them on it because that’s the truth. Sometimes they should be defended. however when it becomes every single move they make that has blown up and he defends it like it couldn’t have possibly been avoided or taking everything they say at face value then you are just Dave spadaro. Literally that’s exactly what Dave does.

Something just dawned on me Arthur Smith was a DEFENSIVE control guy under Wisenhunt and Mike Mularkey. He took over as OC under Vrabel.

So he’s Juan Castillo in reverse.

He’s also survived 4 coaching changes. He’s had a lot of different jobs he’s worked up through the Titans, redskins and ole miss. I’m not surprised they were impressed with him. I would also believe as his father was the founder of FedEx he likely understands what it takes to run a company and know what it takes to be a CEO type of leader.

You didn’t get my point slappy. This team is in cap hell and his little talent 25 or under. It doesn’t matter who’s coach, they’ll probably suck. That’s why just give it to Duce. F it.

sooo....we'll see you in a year or two? 😂

I can understand why they like him He does have some good qualities I just feel like his offensive scheme is too vanilla if you will.

Derrick Henry is the key. Teams that stop the Titans run  beat them. Look at last weeks game for instance Ravens kept Henry in check and Tanehill had just over 150yards passing. Also not a lot of Henry’s out there and Sanders isn’t close.

Its Football offense 101 Strong run then play action pass off it.

Completely agree with you. Henry is a monster and takes some stopping but when he is the Titans falter. I think Smith is given too much credit for an otherwise pretty boring and unimaginative offense.

With a guy like Henry play calling is easy. Even Doug couldn’t screw it up.

But to be serious I’m just not impressed with the Titans O. If Henry isn’t the RB I don’t believe they have the same success

Agreed, completely agree. Smith is getting a lot of credit but I'm just not sure that offense is truly that good. Smith deserves credit for a decent offense with Tannehill at QB but its mostly down to Henry.

Sounds like Smith is off the table.

The Eagles do not win SB52 without analytics. The organization would tell you that.

It's not an accident that the most aggressive team on 4th down was successful.

I'm gonna say they don't suck as bad this year without analytics either. I think you have to know what your team is capable of in addition to what analytics say.

Eagles won't make a decision until they talk to everybody... I'm 99.9% certain, this won't be resolved until at least the week before the Super Bowl.   This will drag into Feb.
