So it's very hard to sit and watch other teams snag coaches, but there are still a few very good choices out there and one for sure that we can't even interview yet. I mean we shouldn't rush just to hire someone if we don't really like him.

Derrick Henry is the key. Teams that stop the Titans run  beat them. Look at last weeks game for instance Ravens kept Henry in check and Tanehill had just over 150yards passing. Also not a lot of Henry’s out there and Sanders isn’t close.

What you should look at is that Smith is smart enough to recognize the talent on the roster, and to actually lean into the strength of his players. He would be semi-retarded not to. 

Arthur Smith isnt off the market yet. Reports just say Atlanta made an offer. Lets see if the eagles were impressed enough to actually make a competing offer or if theyre more interested in finishing the rest of their meetings. 

While Linehan is meh, this would be a good hire.

It’s not official, but the offer being leaked and the second Lions interview being canceled certainly points to it being all but done.

I do enjoy the back and forth between you and Afan. Most times in this recent discussion I lean towards your view point on things....but Afan does raise some good points at times. And I find myself to be much more of an optimist like him in terms of the talent on the roster. 

But sometimes, he just goes so far overboard that you have to laugh at it.

Nope. He's very much in play (no matter what anyone says).

Even if he doesn't get hired, he'll say "I wanted to stay at Oklahoma the whole time" because of recruiting.
