They can’t do that without punishing the Steelers and KC.  There can’t be one rule for playoff teams and one for others.  How a team that lost by less than one score is viewed as deliberately tanking rather than getting playing time for their young players when they literally played all their healthy starters most of the game but that included missing three OL for most of the season and the last quarter of the season missing four fifths of their secondary. And for both of those areas, it isn’t like they were playing backups, they were playing third stringers and street free agents.  This was written with no understanding of this team’s situation.  Idiot and probably a giant lover.

The way Howie talked in the press conference does not indicate his job is in danger.  He is making cases for his moves, showing no sign of regrets or apology, the way most high office guys would.  The joint conference with Doug may also point to them both staying.  Any changes in FO would come from the owner.  We shall see.
