What if it isn't the media spreading the lies?  What if it is the organization spreading lies?  Why would I want to go to the media on behalf of the organization that is making stuff up behind the scene?

Idk the organization also once put out there desean having gang ties and it was leaked to them.  So who knows

I believe so. Don’t know who it was but there were also the reports out reid wanted to get rid of desean in another year before he got fired cause he was a handful. So i don’t think it was chip Kelly alone who put that out there

Les Bowen is a huge DBag.  Maybe Carson wants to hold a PC of his own or talk with his people to get the right message out.  Just because Carson isn't giving you content to write and you can't write anything original Les doesn't make Carson wrong.

Lol are you serious?  Even if you hate his guts, Bowen is correct here.  Carson’s refusal to address the issue publicly puts a big "GUILTY” sign across his face.

I’m confused why people think he doesn’t want to leave. The organization tried to scapegoat him this year after drafting a QB in the 2nd last year instead of improving the team. Why would he want to come back to this mess when he’s got his money guaranteed anyway?

May need a swing T if Wanogho can’t go or they don’t think Toth has a shot.  QB is Wentz.  Quit giving up on WRs after their first year.  You would have given up on some great WRs.  

Meanwhile in a deep S and CB draft you are adding more to the offense.  That’s nuts.

I think the best advice Wentz’s agent could give him is just lay low.  If it wasn’t for COVID I’d tell him to take his wife and kid on an extended vacation in the tropics and let the agency handle the business side.  Going in front of the media has the potential of making him look like the bad guy instead of the good guy

The Eagles have a decision to make.  From Wentz’s standpoint:

— are you really going to have me compete in camp with a rookie QB who is a 52% passer?

— are you really bringing back all of the offensive coaches who created this mess?

— what is your plan to make this a team worth leading for the next 4 years?

 

If he wanted to assert some leverage on the organization he would have his agent in contact with Howie/Lurie directly.  We’ll see how this plays out in the next two months.

 

Howie can’t screw this up. He just can’t.

I don't know what it says about Carson to be honest.  Maybe he's fed up with the media spreading stories about him that aren't true.  Not saying that's the case just thinking of reasons.  Maybe Carson does want to request a trade but he wants to do it in a formal way.

I just think the way the Philly press handles things anymore is so juvenile.  Don't get the interview you want, go on twitter and complain that Carson didn't talk.

Not being talked about at all is the amount of good safeties in this draft.  The Eagles would be wise to take at least 1 maybe 2.
