Just realized I put did instead of didn't. I remember a bunch of people blaming Chip about the gang thing. Even Jackson took shots at Chip when he came back here

Every vet player that played under Chip took open shots at him and the POS that he was.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Tough watching Zach Ertz PC, dude had so much heart over the years, seems he forgot it this year☹️

Finally some sense in here.  He’s entitled, spoiled, and thinks he is above competing for the job after turning in a historically bad season.  Of course the diva wants out.

Entitlement mentality.

He doesn’t need to compete for a job with a gadget QB. The team screwed him now he can screw them back. That’s the way it goes.

I think the best advice Wentz’s agent could give him is just lay low.  If it wasn’t for COVID I’d tell him to take his wife and kid on an extended vacation in the tropics and let the agency handle the business side.  Going in front of the media has the potential of making him look like the bad guy instead of the good guy

The Eagles have a decision to make.  From Wentz’s standpoint:

— are you really going to have me compete in camp with a rookie QB who is a 52% passer?

— are you really bringing back all of the offensive coaches who created this mess?

— what is your plan to make this a team worth leading for the next 4 years?

If he wanted to assert some leverage on the organization he would have his agent in contact with Howie/Lurie directly.  We’ll see how this plays out in the next two months.

Pipe dream: He's biding his time until Howie and Doug are fired this week

OMG are we really bringing back Alshon ????????????????????????????????????????

Probably spreads the fixed costs and makes them easier to trade.  I doubt either is an Eagle next year.

Working my way down the pressers, Graham is an amazing dude.

He doesn’t need to compete with anybody.  He’s the golden boy and if everything isn’t handed to him perfectly on a silver platter, he’ll cry and whine his way out of town.

Entitled, selfish, and spoiled.

Howie can’t screw this up. He just can’t.

He already has.

The level of irrational hate some trolls have for Wentz suggest it’s more personal (political) than anything.

Yup been saying that for well over a year.

It’s far more baffling the level of irrational love most of this blog has for him.  Suggests it’s more personal than what he does on the field, which is be erratic, inaccurate, and reckless.

I think there's more to this internally than we think.

Listening to Graham and hearing him say Jalen can compete for a composition vs Carson leading this team again is quite telling.

This would be the worst thing ever for Lawrence.  Meyer has shown zero ability to develop players at any stop in his coaching career.

I think ideally hightower is suited for Z with his length and speed, but his lack of physicality and oblivion with the ball in the air makes him less then ideal.

Watkins seems to be the fastest of them all and I'm not sure he's physical enough to libe up on the outside consistently I could see him more as a motion slot movement guy.

Reagor is in the same boat skill wise as watkins and if I never see doug dial up another back shoulder fade to reagor on a teams best corner I won't be sad.

What the eagles need is an X receiver that can win jump balls make tough catches at the point and be physical at the LOS and catch point.

JJAW was supposed to replace jeffrey in that capacity obviously that didn't happen.

Chase fits that description as he's super physical at the catch point though I'm not really a fan of chase but he's a possible X in the aforementioned scenario.

I disagree with this.  I think Hightower is best suited for the slot.  Speed to use in YAC.  Watkins seems like a Z to me.  Reagor is either a Z or an X.  Ward is a #4.   JJAW is an Hback.  Fulgham at X and some slot.  The strength of this draft, BTW, is slot WR. There are some decent fast day three X candidates.

It’s funny cuz Wentz has never cried nor complained about anything. But sure you keep crying about that and spreading that narrative.

Is it because he’s so religious? Do people care about that?

Man, a tank looks good on paper until you have to watch it live. Felt like I needed a shower after watching the game last night.

McNabb was benched for less

Outside of Graham being just a real human, I'm noticing this theme of 'we' between Howie/Doug and Ertz.  What stuck out was him mentioning his drop on 4th down against Wash...and not saying 'I'.  It's always we.

Another one

Maybe be a little more oriented towards dissecting plays and a lot less towards who can be the biggest d!ck and maybe players would not decline to speak with you.  I wouldn’t talk with McLane, Roob or Kempski too.

Religious aww shucks gun lover in Philly.   I guarantee it explains some of the hate.  It can’t be just about one bad season.  No way.  It’s not rational.

So strange to me. I don’t care about guns, religion, hunting or anything else he does really. It’s his business, makes him happy and is legal. You gotta be really messed up in your own life to care about your teams QBs hobbies. But here we are, surrounded by nut jobs
