It's been over 8 hours. Either this interview is going really well, Josh had accepted, declined, and accepted multiple times, or he's breaking down what went wrong on all of Wentz's turnovers one by one.

Howie and McDaniel have been silently sizing each other up for the past six hours, plotting to usurp the other.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Meh.  Scoring is overrated.

Like if you’re going to bash Joe Brady it was his first year as an offensive coordinator in the NFL. McDaniels has been in the league for years and every time he doesn’t have Tom Brady his offense sucks. And on top of that he pisses off the players in the locker room to the point where he got fired in Denver for being an a-hole amongst just being bad. And you think that changed? Meanwhile reports came out that Tom Brady left not just because Belichick but also him not liking McDaniels

That's exactly my point. I want Joe Brady despite him having a 25th ranked offense. And I want McDaniels despite him having poorly ranked offenses without Brady. The context is he wasn't winning anything with the trash he had that wasn't Brady. If he lost with Aaron Rodgers, I'd be concerned. When you lose with a shot Cam Newton and Matt Cassel, I'm not.

OK, gotcha.

whose bad clone is this guy?

So let me get this right. You believe the six pick is chopped liver? Trevor lawrence is being pick what five picks ahead. Why don't you value what you have?

Fournette looks quicker than ever. Did he lose like 30 lbs?

You think the guy that picked Tebow with his first pick is smart?🤣

Scheme, not draft picks. He won't be drafting players here... if he even did in Denver. I can't remember if he had say over draft picks there, but he certainly won't here.

Not that Howie would be any better, but maybe better than Josh controlling it.

So Chip Kelly 2.0?  Plus he boned us out of Reich for at least another season where maybe we could have repeated?  Yeah, F stupid Josh McDaniels.

The guy who sucks without Brady? Nah

Nah, he was one of the few players who was about actually doing something, not just talking and acting like a walking oxymoron.  I loved the way he went about things.

More about him defending DJax comments/quotes then his whole issue with Brees. Publicly saying he was ignorant and needed to educate himself all because Brees had a different view that was not Jenkins own belief about respecting players kneeling. Those two topics hit a lot of people the wrong way. Hes one sided and wont respect anyone who is not on his side. To each there own is my view and should be every ones view. I think if he stayed out of those two topics it would be a different story, they made him look really bad.

Yeah, I'm not interested in McDaniels.

You do know Belichick also hasn't been good without Brady either, would you not want Belichick?

I don't think this narrative is a good one. If there's any reason to not want McDaniels it's the control freak factor, not OC offensive output.

I honestly forgot about those incidents.  I get that for sure, it was certainly out of the norm of how he had went about everything prior though.

I love his excuse about context. You shouldn’t finish dead last in the league and 28th in the league in points scored if you are a good offensive coordinators. We finished 26 this year with the doug’s and people had an issue with doug’s play calling. Meanwhile you’re gonna hire the guy that finished behind the Eagles in points scored with a QB that was bad, bad offensive line and had a ton of injuries. So he somehow managed to have that offense scoring less than the Eagles in 2020.

I think the McDaniels situation is the Eagles picking McDaniels brain and McDaniels keeping his name out there in the head coaching conversation.

But if the Eagles really decide to keep Wentz, I would support the hire.

Entry lines, leaving, social distancing, giving people the best view.  Pretty simple concept.

Security, food/drink vendor, house keeping. the list keeps going on. the more area you open up the more employees you need in there to manage the demand.

Eagles did the same thing. Entire lower level was open but only the Home half was open on the upper levels.

No I don't want Belicheat but that has nothing to do with the moron known as Josh McDaniels

People didn’t like him before that too.

You do realize belichick struggled without Brady because his offense sucked and guess who’s running that offense? Their defense down like three or four players due to Covid before the season began and actually played well. They gave up 22 points a game which is 7th in the entire nfl.

you’re right he struggled without Brady because Josh McDaniels stunk at doing his job. And finish 27th in the league in scoring. When you score 20.4 ppg and there’s multiple defensive tds to help that cause that’s a problem. They had four defense/ST touchdowns this year. Meaning without those 28 points they are averaging 18.9 ppg. That was worse than the Eagles this year.

This has been some ugly offensive football for some old QBs that aren't what they once were.

Wentz is MUCH better than Cam Newton — even in 2020

Not gonna make playoff runs with Matt Cassel and a shot Cam Newton. McDaniels was part of the teams that had the most success though too.

I think the Denver concerns are legit, but I don't think the offense without Brady criticisms stand up to scrutiny.

Why would you want someone who was apart of a team that cheats and always tries to use loopholes in rules?

Frankly, I’m shocked we’re even talking to him. Reneging on his deal with Indy should pretty much keep him out of contention for HC jobs. And to interview him after his offense sucked is really weird.

I want the best guy. Don't give a crap about the morality stuff, it means nothing to me. We have one SB in my lifetime. I'll sacrifice virgins to win another, I don't care.

I'd hire Ted Fing Bundy if he was a good football mind. Gimme parades, life is short.
