Yeah, I would try to keep as many offensive coaches on that staff as possible I think. They did a lot of good with Herbert this year.

As far as Mayo and DC.  I’m sure that’s part of the reason why our dysfunctional FO interviewed him.  I agree.  It falls in line with how they operate.  Rather than hire a HC and let him pick his coaches.   But he’s a Patriot coach ....so there’s that.   

Belichick got to 11-5, and had 5 years in Cleveland.  That's not 1.5 seasons.  

Running QB - That would explain the Tim Tebow connection, and the interest in Jalen Hurts.

 

There are more candidates left, we'll see how this all plays out...

Yeah, I would try to keep as many offensive coaches on that staff as possible I think. They did a lot of good with Herbert this year.

It all comes down to Dean Spanos. My sister how to work with him and I’ve had friends work for the chargers when they were in SD The guy is a D bag and he’s super cheap. So if it’s going to cost him more money than he wants that’s how he’s going to base his decision. As much as bad as lurie has over the past couple years I can’t say he’s cheap when it comes to coaches.

 

Man if we come out of this whole clusterF with Daboll and Mayo that would be a pretty solid salvage. Definitely anticipating the worst though.

I laughed out loud when he said that too. It sounded really silly. But I guess it's not if the other teams fill the job before we've even had the conference championship games.

I was out on the Saints when they lost to Jalen and the Eagles. The Bucs are the better team.
