You know you do.

But go ahead and eliminate a candidate for something that happened a decade ago.  That's a wise plan.

No I don't and talk about lazy narrative. People have given you plenty of reasons why they don't want him and all you can come back with is hezzzz fromzzzz new englandzzzzz.

Give us a break.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

yup, but we all hate him because he's from New England

I do hate him because of that but it's for other reasons as well.  I mean I would hate Jason Garrett as an option because of where's he worked and that his best trait is clapping people on and off the field.

Guys — if we’re going to pin blame on McDaniels for drafting Tim Tebow, let’s go ahead and pin Jalen Hurts on Doug Pederson — for consistency

Look at this tool on this webinar.  Wears a tie and vest in addition to his gaming head phones.

Was he go to a wedding just after the meeting? Who wears a 3 piece suit?

If I thought he was going to be good I really don't care where he comes from including Dallas. But I don't

Tebow was a first round pick and threw the football like a shot put.  Hurts at least looks like a normal QB and he was taken in the 2nd round.

Nah, Pederson was a puppet

He drafted Tim Tebow 10 years ago.  And other assistant coaches from New England have failed as HC.  That's two pretty silly reasons.  I wouldn't consider that "plenty" of reasons.  Oh, he spurned Indy...that's another one.

There have been others given as well but that's okay we hatezzz himzzzz cauzzzz newzzzzzzzzzzz englandzzzzzz

I just can't man......These people take themselves so seriously.  I barely listen.  You would think my industry is national defense or brain surgery with the way these people act.

Ok.  Which ones?  Because they sucked last year with Scam Newton?  I'm all ears.   Go ahead.

Well obviously no reason is good enough for you soooooooooo newzzzz englandzzzzz.

McDaniel and Brady are tied together.  It's unclear how much of his success is linked to Brady. He didn't have to adjust an offense to fit a particular skill set.  McDaniels had a very skilled decision maker. The offensive scheme allowed Brady to read and recognize how to exploit the defenses.   Daboll has helped Allen run an elite offense suited to his skills.  He's built an offense for Allen to allow him to excel.  I think we need more of the latter than the former with Wentz and/or Hurts.

I'm sure the owner will be cautious, as he was snake bit from fully believing and empowering the visored idiot, but until he trusts someone else that actually has a clue, he will keep spinning his wheels and going nowhere.

When was Doug empowered?   Or did you mean Chip?   Too many visored idiots running around...

McDaniels had those offenses with a 6th round talent at QB.

Not sure if posted, but taking shots at the Cowgirls is always fun

I had an entire hearing before a judge where the opposing attorney was sitting on his couch in his living room with his computer on the coffee table.

McDaniel's Negatives:

Drafted Tim Tebow 10 years ago as a 34 year old Head Coach in the NFL.

Backed out of the Indy job.

Other coaches from New England have failed as Head Coaches with other really bad franchises.

Got fired as a 34 year old Head Coach after 2 seasons.

Bill O'Brien's GM was terrible.

You keep throwing Chip out as the fall guy.  Howie was still in charge of personnel in 2014.  Chip pushed him out in 2015.  If Chip was running things in 2014, then why would he need to make the power play for control in 2015?   It doesn't fit.  Clearly Howie wasn't pulling the strings Chip wanted him to, hence the power play in 2015.

There are others I could identify that would clearly be Howie failing... Donnel Pumphrey as a trade up target?   Nah, the drafting has NOT been good.  There's no case to be built to demonstrate otherwise, but there are a lot of straws you can grasp at.

Howie wasn't in charge of anything in 2014, Chip controlled everything (micro-manager if I ever saw one).

Even in 2013, you can see his influence in 4 PAC-10 picks out of 8, though that probably was more consensus, as they weren't reaches.

Ertz #35, Barkley #98, Kruger #212, Poyer #218.

Next season Huff and Hart out of Oregon, Reynolds out of Stanford.

Right but nobody is turning down this job because of Jalen, it’s the other guy.

He got fired for the video tape scandal, didn’t he? He may have had success in Denver if not for that.

You said plenty.  I listed some.  Which ones am I missing?

Well 5 or 6 certainly isn't plenty .   Obviously the only conclusion can be he's from New England.

I can't help but think that Mcdaniels and Wentz will get into it. There are some meme worthy stories of him as a coach in Denver.

I just feel like the Birds are kicking the can down the road again..... Pretty disgusted with this franchise.

The Eagles already have...

Sorry, I have a hard time writing Chips name... what a piece of garbage in every sense he was.  Of course that is who I meant!

Doug was whatever the opposite of empowered is.... he was emasculated.  What they did to him last year with Groh etc., was just sad.  I wonder if they installed a time clock for Doug and made him clock in and out.

Two idiots parroting buzz words to each other giving one another credit for LVII while the team implodes.  Go hire an "innovative" coach that will 100% abide by your analytics and re-arrange the draft board again guys.  The QB factory needs some raw materials... lets see who we got at 6th overall....
