I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Tom Curran from NBC Sports Bahston said McDaniels has learned a lot from Denver and thinks he'd be an excellent hire. FWIW.

I’d check Twitter. It was a story earlier this offseason. Mcdaniels and Brady refuted it  but meyers then said he stuck by the story and had more sources saying it was true

That damn Brady is uncoachable.

I blame the players and side with ownership and the coaches on all of these.

Yep.  The guy was 34 years old!!  I know I am a lot different from what I was back then.

When we started to give 100 million dollars to a bunch of Fing babies

When did the league get so soft?

Started with millenials that can't be told they're not good enough to play.

When they stopped letting defenses tackle.

The other question you should be asking, when did "reporting" become all hot takes?

Better for the Rams to be honest. Goff holds mcvay back not the other way around. Mcvay can get a QB that he likes more.

Would rather have Duce, heck would have much much rather kept Doug.

Just a mess

I don't blame Deshaun, but the Texans have plenty of leverage. Watson won't make a dime of that contract if he doesn't show up.

Seriously!?  You're really going with that?  LOL  Come on.  So if it wasn't for JM, Frank Reich would still be the OC.  Doug would still be the HC.  Carson would still be an MVP candidate?  Howie would draft better.  We wouldn't have thrown a bunch of money at old players.  We would linebackers and a secondary.  And we wouldn't be almost $70 million over the cap next year.

Reich would have gotten hired somewhere else.  Carson would have still been coming back from a serious knee injury and our FO would have still drafted us into last place.

Slipped and fell all the way down the mountain on that one.

The Seahawks are taking to Doug to be their OC? LOL

Has there been any progress on that.  Honestly, that makes a ton of sense.  He's from Washington.  Carroll is old.  He might be able to be the OC there for a few years and then get a shot at HC there once Carroll retires and Carroll can teach him how to strut.

I actually think Doug would do well with that offense.  Doug is fairly innovative in the run game.  He's done well against the Rams aside from this year.  He's beaten the 49ers and the Cardinals.  I think he would be an excellent choice.

The wussification of the US started years ago, but when it creeps into the NFL in the form of HC/Player relationships, thats when you know we aren't in Kansas anymore.

I remember hearing Terry Bradshaw telling a story about how much he hated Chuck Noll.   I didn't seem to hurt him winning a few SB's with him.

Seems pretty easy for the teams then if they think these QBs aren’t good enough to play they can let them walk and best of luck finding someone better.

NFL players and specifically QBs have realized that they are more valuable to their teams and can have more say than just their contract value. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Just like teams can cut a player anytime, players should have some leverage.

Duce is a lot better choice than anyone else on the market. Doesn't mean he is a world beater. Just honestly best choice in a hot mess of coaching choices right now. Nothing looks good.

I'd rather he be like McDaniels thinks being an overbearing a-hole that won't work with others will work better next time.

So you're saying Wentz to the Rams, Goff to the Texans, Watson to the Eagles. I'm in.

So you are ok with a player saying....a HC "needs to come in and earn the respect"?  You're fine with that?  Like how is that acceptable in any walk of life?  Anywhere?

Not at all, but I'm not the one who said we shouldn't compare NFL stuff to Everyday Joe jobs.

So what exactly happened with Watson in Houston?

I haven't kept full tabs on it, but from what I've read it appears he's pissed they didn't hire a minority GM and may not hire a minority head coach? And he didn't think the owner did enough in terms of social justice?

If that's not true, then disregard. If it is, I'm not sure who he thinks he is. A player dictating a GM hire is insanity. If that's what he wanted to do, then he deserves criticism himself. Especially if it's based off of immutable characteristics like just skin color.

Wonder how McDaniels would work with Wentz.

Would be the craziest scenario of all time. I actually love to see how it would workout in terms of what moves where in terms of picks

I don't know if soft is the right word.  It's definitely a difference in expectations and ego.  I think it has to do primarily with the money and time involved.  I mean kids get groomed to be QBs with training from early ages.  Parents spend a ton on this kind of training and those trainers cater to the parents and kids expectations.  It just gives them a different view on their relationship with the coach.  Not to mention that Goff or any other post 1st contract QB has money to walk away from the sport.

Stoutland was the running game coordinator, so take that with a grain of salt.

And Duce was part of it as well
