Sad part is someone will televise that bowl game 😂

I’m more interested in what the trophy looks like. Is it going to be dulcolax, toilet bowl or toilet bowl filled with dulcolax

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

There's a risk.  And if he gets hurt, it all goes up in smoke.    He is also potentially giving up a year's earnings.  Will he make that up on the front end as a result of moving up in the draft?   Maybe, he's certainly betting so.  But, it is a risk.

Smith did get hurt in the championship game. Of course it was just a dislocated finger but surgery to fix it was kinda strange.

Wow, you are awesome at life and totally humble. Maybe you should apply for an NFL head coaching position since you are so amazing at everything.

Lol. I don't know how you can take my post and spin it to where I'm saying I'm amazing at everything. I'm literally being nice. I worked 55+ hours every week during the Pandemic. I'm extremely proud of where I'm at in life. I grew up dirt poor.

Life is what you make it.

Well now that is seems like Josh is the guy, I'm ready to give him a shot. No reason to keep complaining.

I feel the same way. I didn’t want him but the guys I wanted are gone or not interested and Josh well if anything we will be entertained one way or the other. Either he changed and will turn  the Eagles around or he and Howie have a fight to the death grudge match! Winner gets to shave Luries head and kick Carson in the crotch.

I have a hypothetical for the group.  Say Josh McDaniels is interested in the job.  But he tells Lurie he wants to shop for the groceries as well as cook the meal and he asks for Howie to go.  So what would people prefer in that scenario?  Josh McDaniels without Howie Roseman?  Or someone like Mike Kafka with Howie Roseman?

Time’s yours.

Any option without Howie Roseman is the obvious choice, unless you believe that Reagor over Jefferson was Doug's doing, then it is a huge grey area.

Stupid. Howie has already said they're rebuilding and he should have started last season. So a new HC would have a 3 year grace period.

Or why most media types deserve contempt, it would have taken 15 minutes on Google to figure that one out.

No way I give ANY HC control over personnel, input yes, but never control, we've seen that implode too often.

In fact, after the last couple years, you'll see Howie give more weight to the scouts/personnel guys and less to the coaches.

Because that doesn’t make them any less dysfunctional of an organization. I know you seem to think they aren’t. Meanwhile people who cover the team and in league circles tell you they are dysfunctional. But continue to have your head in the sand when there’s smoke there’s fire. I’m supposed to just dismiss every other source because you’re telling me they’re not dysfunctional. So literally every report that’s come out it’s just Made up. Riiiiiight

With McDaniels past with trades, draft picks, etc. Id tell Josh no thank you. Yes I get it was 10 years ago but its all you can go off at this point and it was ugly then. Some times the devil you know is better then the devil you dont.

We already know Kafka is not the guy so yes Id rather keep Howie with the advisory of all his 5 future GMs to advise him and go with one of the other candidates.

I don’t really want McDaniels, but if he were to somehow get Lurie to fire Howie, I would get McDaniels’ face tattooed on the inside of my eyelids.

Wasn’t Josh the reason we got hosed after 2017? He backed out of taking Indy job last minute causing them to come back and take Reich from us after we had let Flip go. If Indy had taken Reich from the start, we likely keep Flip by promoting him to OC here and then who knows what kind of trajectory Wentz career might be now if Flip was still here coaching him.

I don’t know what Kafka is going to be. And he was not my top choice. And like Josh McDaniels I’m gonna give them a chance. Like almost every podcast I’ve listen to it’s been unanimous that he is going to be a head coach within the next 2 to 3 years. And when I hear Bill Polian, Adam schefter and some others say he’s well thought of around the league in terms of being brilliant, Andy absolutely loves him and people think he will be a very good head coach in time i think he’s probably not nearly as awful as people on here make him. He like every candidate has his own set of issues and flaws. However the two main ones I’ve heard is he comes from the Reid coaching tree. meanwhile Bill Belichick hasn’t been exactly stellar. Second due to his personality being an introvert. Which was taken from Geoff Mosher who was in the locker room 8-10 years ago with him. So if we’re gonna argue Josh McDaniels can change from 34 to 44 there might be a change from Mike Kafka the rookie quarterback to 11 years now Mike Kafka. My bigger issue with him is he doesn’t have much experience in terms of coaching. He’s only been in the league for five years as a coach. However just like Doug Pederson (believe he only had 5 years as a coach) he also played in the NFL as a back up quarterback  however not nearly as long as doug

Also a piece of news saleh when he was younger wasn’t as big of a personality. Caplan went into that today when he was with the jags to start his career. And later with time became more comfortable and became who he was.  So obviously people like Kafka and mcdaniels can develop ans change over time.

Did you listen to the excuse: "With that fanbase they'll have to get back the SB in a year or two."  What a crock

I never said i agreed with him on that point. You and I know that they have to do a rebuilt so we’re not expecting much for the next 2 to 3 years Frankly I don’t think he has a pulse of the city or the fans.

That doesn’t mean he wasn’t entirely correct on organizational part. Literally mosher and Adam caplan, said the same thing about the organization in their latest podcast and what they had been hearing around the league. So that part isn’t just him  his reason behind the dysfunction inside the organization and why coaches shy away i agree with outside of the fans expectations. We’ve always had high expectations so that’s not anything new prior to this year. What’s going on in inside the organization, talked about around the league and you’re dismissing it.
