With the current candidates, I think I can talk myself into giving McDaniels a shot and seeing what happens. If he brings Gase or Patricia, I’d be full on apathetic 7 months before the season started.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

judging by all the negative reactions to Josh M possibly new HC for eagles and who is displaying this negativity, I am feeling positive about the move.

Thanks, if you guys loved it, id be worried about it.

Gase and Patricia are disasters as HC's but they are great coordinators arent they?

As far as Patricia and Slay, I wouldnt be surprised at all if Howie was already resigned to the fact that hes going to have to trade Slay for cap reasons. So that relationship likely doesnt matter as Slay may have been on the move regardless.

Gase has only been an OC twice and one was with Peyton so I'm not sure if that even counts

He's been riding that Peyton success with the Broncos for years now

Maybe Patricia can bring back Undlin too.

The frazzled looking guy following is our new HC.

Well, the last one did

Not really what did he win the jury is still out? He just drafted Tua and now want to trade him lol.

No combine this year.  Hopefully that stops Howie from doing something stupid based on how polite a kid is in his interview.

Bo, Sheil, and Zach weren't high on the idea of McDaniels. Sheil hated it the most. He just thinks there's too much baggage. I disagree, but I always like them calling it how they see it.

However, I kinda tuned out of tonight's episode once Bo and Sheil went on about how Lurie is gonna have to explain to the media why he hired McDaniels over a minority candidate.

The woke stuff by the football media is insufferable. Lurie doesn't have to explain to a single person why he hired a certain race of individual. It's completely irrelevant, and this critical race theory nonsense invading every nook and cranny of society is beyond toxic.

Dude we understand you can hire whoever you want. But Eric B. is a quality coach that has experience with a successful qb. Will be less drama and work balls to the wall. And he is connected to the coaching tree you respect.

You never know, if Stoutland is out he might be the one to convince Honey Buns to come here

If you listened later in the episode berman and bo made a strong case for mcdaniels being lurie’s hire and not howie. It would be more beneficial that it was someone like Duce cause it is easier to manipulate the situation then it would be with mcdaniels. Not that i think that’s the case but they made a good argument for it

Ive got a DiBona thinking about this potential coaching staff now.

The last owner that should explain his actions as it pertains to social causes is f-ing Lurie.  Those guys sound like ignorant triggered fools.

Bo said something like "If he goes back to the Ray Rhodes line again, someone needs to call him out on it."

Call him out on what? How about "I hired the guy I thought was best for the job, I don't hire or not hire anyone based on the color of their skin, because I'm not a racist person."

Conversation over.

They've interviewed a few minority candidates. That's equality of opportunity, which is very important. Force-hiring someone you don't like based on their ethnicity is equality of outcome. An unsustainable broken way for any society to function.

These are exactly the kind of hires McDaniels should make. No Gase, no Patricia, no weirdos.

i have nothing against Eric B, but what other HC openings has he been asked to interview for this year? there is a reason he isnt getting a shot yet, and its not his race.

Did he source there McDaniels was interested in Gannon? I hadn't seen that anywhere.

pretty sure no one can accuse Lurie of  practicing systemic Racism, well they can acuse him, but nothing based on or in reality.

I’m a Howie fan, but I absolutely do NOT want McDaniels. Totally uninspiring.

In fact, I don’t want ANYONE whose reputation is made with a HOF head coach like AR or BB and/or a once in a QB like PM or TB.

Give me an OC who over achieved with a middling QB, an average HC, and really earned his yards and points based on scheme, tactics and strategy.

He’s interviewed well over 10 times now in the last two years.

What does everyone think of Kyle Pitts. Is that guy even a tight end? I'm surprised noone on the blog wants him.

I wonder if Josh would be into that.

Lure approved bringing an ex-con black athlete back to the NFL(Vick). Any foolish sentiment that Lurie discriminates should end right there.

Maybe McDaniels really doesn’t want personnel say. Maybe he’s been humbled a bit.

I bet if he starts winning though he’ll fall right back into his old habits.

The McDaniels' hire could be so bad it gets Howie fired, so there's that!

Your almost where I’m at. The way I see it the guys I wanted are either gone or not being talked about anymore so if it’s JM I’m ok cause 1of 2 things will happen, He will either show he’s learned his lesson and turn things around or fail and no way Howie survives 4coaches.

We are screwed for at least 2 years anyway with this cap.
