I think that's true. It's why I predicted he'd be the hire when the rumor first surfaced. Lurie is infatuated with anything Patriots.

Single A baseball in the Mets organization. Last year he had the lowest batting avg. In A league.

Thing is Pitts is a route runner. He reminds me of Kittle and if that’s his potential I’ll take it at six.

Idk Berman and bo on the BWF podcast made a compelling argument how this is a lurie coaching hire. As howie rather have Duce as it’s easier to manipulate the situation and much easier to be basically a yes man than mcdaniels. If that’s the case and mcdaniels ends up being bad it might actually benefit howie if it was Lurie and howie wasn’t all in.
