Yep.  Let’s draft another TE with our top pick. Even though we have huge holes all over the roster.  Good plan.  And NO!   He’s not just a big WR.  That’s a pick teams that are almost complete make.  Not teams that are rebuilding.

I don't want him dude. No way. I'm just surprised people have not gotten on the band wagon. Could be the next fotm.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I’ve seen the guy play.  Thanks.  No.  We don’t need Kyle Pitts with our 1st overall pick.  That would a terrible pick.  So I guess it’s pretty likely to happen then.

I’m ready for them to take a kicker in the second round as they tell us how the analytics say kickers score the most points so we needed an upgrade from Elliott

I disagree. I think he would be a fine pick. There’s a reason he’s climbing the boards

Good footwork and route running from a 6’6 240 LB TE/WR.

Because we have many many more desperate needs than TE. If I'm taking someone that catches the ball at six, I'm taking the Heisman winning best player in CFB or Chase.

Not saying pitts can’t be a great player but we discussed this a couple weeks ago. How many tight ends that go top 10 winds up being worthy of where they were selected. It wasn’t great.

I’m fine with the pick

Malarkey!!! We are going to lose ertz. How do you expect us to run the wave of the future in the nfl of 12 personnel without two good tight ends.......

Lots of discussion on him. Lol. I thought one person would answer.

I think there will be talk of him at our pick. He is another freak player. I don't think he would be BPA.

We need everything, Ertz is a puss.

Lol. I don't know how you can take my post and spin it to where I'm saying I'm amazing at everything. I'm literally being nice. I worked 55+ hours every week during the Pandemic. I'm extremely proud of where I'm at in life. I grew up dirt poor.

Life is what you make it.

I was just messing with you dude.

6. I’m firmly aboard the "stop trying to make Bieniemy a thing/he’s been held back for ulterior motives” train.

????

After hiring him, we won't even be able to call the Pats out for cheating anymore, as our HC will be one as well.

The question with McDaniels is whether he's grown up in terms of people skills from 10 years ago. There's no question he can coach offense, and he's seen a top defense work for a decade.

As far as his offensive acumen, yes it helps to have Brady, but as I pointed out, he's worked with a revolving case of RBs, WRs and TEs in New England, and kept that offense in the top ten, usually in the top 5, in points scored every season. He's put together a dink and doink offense, a big play offense, a TE centric offense, with all pro WRs and guys worse than AR's Eagles.

In Denver, he turned Kyle Orton into a passable NFL QB.

In St Louis, he couldn't save a clusterf---, both tackles went down, Bradford lasted ten games, same with Lloyd and Kendricks at TE, Amendola got injured his first game, Brandon Gibson was his #2 WR, the offense was Steve Jackson and pray.

Same with New England last year, Newton at QB, revolving cast of RBs, Jakobi Meyers and Damiere Byrd your two best WRs (both UDFAs), K;Neal Harry your 3rd WR b/c Edelman only lasted 6 games, Ryan Izzo is your TE, well, good luck.

Guys like Smith and Brady have very short resumes, how much is simply being in the right place at the right time?

Two TEs, Kelce and Waller, were among the top ten in receiving yards last year.

A top H-back is easily as valuable as a top WR. We've seen that with Ertz.

Looks like a great prospect, but it’s pretty tough to justify a TE this high for a team that needs good players at positions that are much harder to fill. You can get quality athletic pass catching TEs in the 2nd-4th rounds pretty reliably.

Rank the following Eagles podcasts

Inside the bird, Eagle eye podcast, Go birds, Birds with friends

I love inside the birds. Lots of great information, level headed and fair discussion, and two guys who don't try to be comedians.

I know some people don't like Roob but I think he is fantastic and knows what the hell he is talking. Zangaro is solid. Like inside the birds these guys bring information, level headed perspectives, and don't try too hard to be comedians.

Go birds would be up next for me. ESP actually isn't terrible on his podcast, just keep him away from twitter. Seltzer is entertaining when he isn't over doing it.

Birds with friends would be last. Zach Berman might be the best guy out of any of the pods but he doesn't belong with the other two nitwits. Kapadia is a whining moron and Bo Wulf tries way too hard to be funny without being even remotely funny.

We will all be needing serious group therapy soon.

What are you questioning? I agree he’s had his fair shot at interviews and he’s not getting hired for a reason, and it’s not his race.

Nvm, I typed too fast and missed a very important *not,  before "held back due to ulterior motives”

Inside the Birds has the best scoops, but those 2 have their heads so far up their asses it's not even funny.

Birds with Friends is fine. Sheil and Zach have great football points, but Bo comes off like he has a rich dad.

Go Birds has the best flow of all the Eagles shows probably because Seltzer is a radio guy. I don't dislike ESP as much as most people and his podcast points aren't as obnoxious as his Twitter page.

Eagle Eye is trash. Neither guy is a real insider and they both have horrible personalities.

John McMullen might be the biggest hack who covers the Eagles and that is really saying something.

I could possibly be talked into Go Birds over Eagle Eye. I will say though it was better with Barchard as the host. ESP is insufferable on twitter with his attention whoring hot takes. On the pod he is completely different though.

If that’s their guy, then fire everyone.   Better yet.  Fire everyone anyway.

Totally agree. I think when I read that it was mostly shock and like crap...at least don't pick him at 6 if they are driving off a cliff. But like you said if they are that dumb then they would piss the other picks away too. Fire them all would be a good starting point.

And you have your replacement at tight end in Dallas goedert. He’s not as great of a route runner but better after the catch and blocking. You don’t need 2 all world tight ends to win in this league. If you are telling me don’t pay goedert and find yourself a better tight end fine. However i think you just assume you can find kelce, kittle and waller tight ends. Kelce is a future HOFer. waller due to his background took years to get to this point. You act like it’s easy to find kelce and walker’s out there

I really saw the chiefs with kelce and seals-jones and raiders going heavy 12 personnel with Waller and witten all year....

I’ll just point to you diggs, hill and Adams are in the Championship games and all I’d say were top 5 receivers. Mike Evans was 18th in receiving yards cause he missed time and they have AB and godwin. Literally 18 out of the top 20 were receivers.  Let’s not pretend like it’s easy to just find tight ends like kelce who are unicorns

There’s not many people I have muted on Twitter. He’s one of them after he defended Nate Gerry to the death a year ago
