As far as defense, just load up on your FA and UDFA on defense.  They seem to have more success finding them there then in the draft.

its a long term plan thing. running backs are rarely worth their second contracts. so i think you need to draft a talented one about every other year. doesnt need to be as high as rd 2 but Etienne was too good to pass up. 

So far the offseason has been uneventful but that is certainly to be expected.  Hopefully they get a coach in play soon so that we can start to understand their plan a little more for the future.

Well I mean outside of that lol.  But I also feel like I kind of expected it.  So to me it wasn't really a big surprise.  I kept thinking it could happen but figured they Super Bowl bought him another year.  I was wrong but also not surprised.

I really think Surratt is going to be a very good player.  It would be great if they could get him even in the 2nd round.  My worry is that they are going to look at Taylor and Singleton and think they're good with them.
