I'm sure we'll talk about this a lot, but the downside is that you need smart players to run it. If your WRs can't read coverages, it's over.

Well... RIP Eagles season 2021.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Hopefully that Allen interview is more about vetting Aaron Glenn for DC.

That looks more fun than what we’ve had the last two seasons.

Hire him just to screw the Cowboys. Were in a rebuild anyway.

I would be excited about Kellen Moore. 🤷‍♂️

In fairness JJAW is smart enough to probably understand. But just sucks at the actual running routes and catching the ball part. You know that as being a football player

No issues with being thorough, but the longer this goes on

1) They lose out on staff candidates

2) They start to look like they're doing their "we're smarter than you" stuff again by interviewing 10 times the candidates of everyone else

Why can't we ever just operate like a normal team for once?

Kind why i wish it was riley just to see cowboys fans lose their mind after they thought he was gonna be the fire last year and then again when McCarthy gets fired.

I don't care about book smarts.  He was running into his teammates just last year.   The others showed a bit of trouble with running a simple button hook where you have to come back to the QB.

Yeah, but can he line up correctly and block?

I'll take Moore over McDaniels, for sure.

I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic because people just excusing mcdaniels because he had the QBs he did elsewhere from New England

Who is telling these reporters this?  Their agents?  I mean, do we know anybody is in the interview besides Howie and Jeff?  Would seem kind of unusual.  Heck, even with my boss, if I was asked about interviews he would hear the same thing my peers and other people around the office would hear, the interview went fine but I have others yet to go or the interview went fine and these are the three candidates I want to bring in for a more extensive interview.  That sort of thing.  Do we really expect an agent to leak that his client sucked and failed the interview? The whole McDaniels thing may be an "explanation " of due diligence calls.

This is the usual MO for Lurie. He will take this opportunity to gather as much information by talking to as many different people as he can. He gets info on Players, Coaches, Gms and teams. Not every person he is talking to is a serious candidate, most he is just using to get info from.

right now with only one other HC opening, he probably feels like there is less risk in taking his time.

Smolenski might have been in the meeting too, he was for the Chip Kelly meeting back in the day.

They are just rumors. Nothing is for sure or certain. Yesterday one reporter said Brian Daboll was not interested in interviewing with the Eagles and was staying with Buffalo. Only hours later another reporter said eh was not for sure sold on staying with the Bills, he is not out of play for one of the remaining open jobs and if the Eagles asked for a interview he would accept.

Thats why I take every media reporters stories with a grain of salt.

I didn’t realize til you said that. He’s looks like he’s looking at agholor like an eagles fan would be like you Fed up a-agholor?

Do you know if Bieniemy has been interviewed?

I'd pump the brakes on that one. Washington was pretty garbage all year and barely beat the Eagles in a game we were actively tanking. They have an ok foundation with the D and Rivera, but there's along way to go for them still.

They're better than us IMO

Yeah... he's likely an Eagles' fan and is pissed at Agholor.

WFT has been drafting better than the Eagles, for sure.  They’ve built the foundation of a solid defense; what they decide to do at QB will be very important
