Why do the washers want McDaniels? First time he gets in Wentz’s face dude will melt.  I figured they would want Duce?

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Hurts isn't competing for anything for another year. One read college spread QBs are a good way to go 6-10.

He needs to sit on the bench, watch a lot of film, and learn how to read a defense and quickly go through his progressions.

Meanwhile, Wentz gets a year to fix his issues.

Yup or he needs to go. If Wentz sucks draft his replacement next year.

Because unlike the idiots that want Wentz gone under any circumstance, regular fans would like him to return to form and hope that coaching will do that. Oh and welcome to spot # 1 on the troll poll.

Fire up the Wentz trade rumor mill

Good for Phillip. He had a long, heck of a career. Now he can settle down with the wife and have some kids.

I don't agree. Although his sample size was small, there are teams out there who would give him a shot based on those few games. He is also athletic, and yea it may be short lived in todays NFL, teams are looking at the Ravens and seeing them have success with Lamar Jackson, plus he was the league MVP last year.

Hurts had no idea he was going to get drafted here, and probably wonders himself why we even drafted him. That phone call had to be the biggest surprise.

In short, Wentz doesn't want to be here unless he is the starter and I don't think Hurts wants to be here unless he gets a fair chance in camp to start. Hurts has yet to earn anything I get that, but these guys know they are sought after elsewhere, and so do their agents.

I love the clamoring for Duce because "the players like him and would play hard for him."  This is not the real world.  I can't even think of 1 player on this current roster whose opinion I would value or listen to for the future of this organization.

1) Brandon Graham and Jason Kelce might not even be on the roster next year.  If Brandon Graham is, then it will be his last.  He's not concerned about the long-term future of the Eagles.  In fact, I would guess he's more concerned about finishing his career playing for his friend Duce.  The fact that some of these guys are "texting" Lurie is ridiculous, and it's absolutely because of the culture that Doug P has created for a roster that lacks talent or sits out 7 weeks because of soft-tissue injuries.

2) Probably more half of this current roster are fringe players, and their best chance at a spot next year is with the guy they know.  That guy is Duce.

Trade both for Watson and profit.

Last year wentz had the worst regression in passer rating for any qb under 30 in the last 70 years but anybody who critiques him gets labeled a troll

That’s why my thinking was. I also like he was a former WRs coach before a OC with the colts. So hopefully if he’s hired he can help with that as well

These guys make it pretty easy on us to see who's a moron

Adam Schein said this morning Eric Bieniemy had a "great interview with the Texans”

Hopefully they make it clear they will be hiring him as soon as they’re able — then Lurie will be able to name a head coach sooner than later

What did he say that was wrong or troll like? I thought it was a fair point, one I’ve wondered myself. We know that Wentz does not like to be coached hard but you guys want a guy like mcdaniels to coach the team hard. That’s a fair point/question to ask. Again how was he trolling?

Sheil is stealing my stuff again, I don't mind him stealing it as long as I get a footnote.

Only a lawyer would suggest a footnote.  I remember reviewing a brief with my ultimate boss a few decades ago with our outside counsel (all Harvard lawyers except my boss, he was a University of Maryland grad).  My boss said if it was worth saying, say it in the body, not a footnote.  I always agreed with that and I think the Federal courts did too as many established font and page limit requirements.  You should hold out for recognition in the body of the piece.

Whenever the Phillies sign Realmuto then lurie will hire the coach an hour later to steal the thunder.

Eagles love doing drawn out interviews. McDaniels was like 9 hours. Saleh and Smith were both 8. Now Sirianni at 6.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Duce’s interview was 35 minutes, and he’s reading these updates thinking WTF?

So it’s bad mine was only 30 minutes

None of them see it.  It's almost like a pointless superpower.

1)  Wentz sucks.  We need to trade him immediately.  I've been saying this since 2017 after he would have been the MVP.  He sucked last year and the year before.  He's never completed a pass, and every one of his teammates hate him.  They've always hated him.  His receivers are open on every play, and he never sees it.  Here's the one 5 second clip from the last 3 weeks of the all 22 that I've never watched.  Hurts is God.  Maybe we can bring back Foles.  He's been amazing the last 2 seasons.   <----Wentz hater sees this post.  Acknowledges post.  Empire builds on post by pulling in other unknowledgeable football fans.

2)  Wentz has regressed a ton this year.  He makes terrible mistakes by holding onto the ball too long, still fumbles the ball too much, and tries way too hard to play hero ball.  He needs to take what the defense gives him at times, which isn't much.  He takes his fair share of the blame but not all of it.  The play calling has been terrible and hasn't catered to his strengths at all.  They stop running the ball when it works.  The receivers can't even get out of their breaks before Wentz gets crushed, and the OL is on its 14th rotation in the last 13 weeks.  I really hope Wentz can be fixed next season and get back to being the franchise QB.  <---Wentz haters do not see this post for what it is.  They see it as "Wentz Washer," rather than logical.

You can't be too logical when responding to a Wentz hater.  Their defense mechanisms come into play quickly.

Eagles should play a 11-0 defense then.  this team can only seem to identify DL, not LBs or DBs.

Buddy Ryan would approve - he was going to blitz everyone anyway.
