We'd be in play for whatever WR we wanted I think. I think we'd also be in play for Sewell if we wanted to. We could probably trade down for a kings ransom too

I'd think at LEAST 1 of the Chase, Smith, or Sewell will be gone at 6.  Most likely 2.  Unless 4 QBs are drafted before our pick.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

So which player are we going to miss out on because we are picking 6 instead of 3?

Technically there are 3 players the Eagles will miss out on picking 6 instead of 3.

"Probably” a better one lol so you aren’t sure at all but what you all are all sure of is that he definitely hurt the team

Not sure why you’re trying to argue picking 3rd in each round isn’t preferable to picking 6th, and really not sure why you’re taking the position that those of us who recognize Hurts showed himself to be a very good backup, but very pedestrian starter have some sort of personal bias — rather than a set of eyes

No, I'm sure.

winning a meaningless game that hurts your draft position is always bad for the team. last year to next year morale bull**** is just that. bull****.

We dont know if Hurts is on the team next year. We dont know if Hurts starts a game next year. But sure man, getting him his first win was a morale victory

I'm all for making jokes at Br3's expense but they're just jokes. Winning is always ALWAYS better - it's not a morale from one year to the next thing - it's a mentality thing. You know the old salesman saying "always be closing". Well in sports that translates to "always be winning" - or trying to at least.

I rip the Patriots a lot for cheating and other things - but there is one thing I have to complement BB on - he is built a culture in New England where everything is about winning.

I have a set of eyes also and I see Howie drafting jjaws & Maddoxes, and Nate gerrys in every round and last time I checked he’s still here so in the grand scheme of things picking 3rd or 6th to me is ultimately meaningless given who is still in charge

Watch nothing after Executive Decision and you will be fine. Above the Law and Out for Justice are worth a watch. He is a legit Akeido master mixing in some Kenpo strikes.

My understanding is that he's nothing of the sort, that Michael Ovitz, a very powerful Hollywood agent, made him a star on a bet. Seagal was Ovitz's personal trainer and nothing more. The rest is just made-up hype. Just looking at him you can see that Seagal was always awkward and had no leg technique at all. He just waves his arms and people fall over. He's also obese and a terrible actor. I do enjoy some of his films for comedic value, especially Belly of the Beast.. That one's set in Thailand and all his fights are actually done by a guy half his size. The camera just keeps the stuntman's head out of the shots but the guy is the real thing, a whirling dervish with tremendous leg technique. Seagal weighs maybe 350 and the stuntman weighs maybe 135.

He's also, by many accounts, a major league pervert and sexual predator.

Other than that, he's Jet Li.

Lol no please! keep them coming I welcome the jokes. I don’t take anything personal or think people should give a F about me because "I put people on ignore” like that greend clown 😂

Not that I'm sticking up for Seagal but he didn't get fat until later in life and Aikido has very little to do with legs.

Is Hurts a JJaws, Maddoxes or Nate gerrys?

Hurts played pretty average to me so no. I wish those other guys could be average.

I'm not defending Steven - i'm not a fan either - he's somewhat recently obese - (taken from wikipedia)  he's a 7th dan black belt in aikido (what ever that is) began his martial arts instruction in Japan - first foreigner to operate a dojo in that country.

I will say this about black belts - having a black belt does not necessarily make you a bad ass - it simply means you are qualified to teach - a black belt is like a Masters Degree. It's about knowledge and not necessarily ability.

With a good team around him Hurts could win us some games when needed (as a back-up) but it was sooo stupid for him to be picked last year in the 2nd round when we had many more needs than a back-up q.b.

It has everything to do with balance and movement, however, neither of which Seagal has ever been able to do. That comes from the legs. Aikido does incorporate leg strikes and the like but well into the discipline. Too dangerous in the early stages.

Since I haven't closed the wiki page yet ... born in Lansing Michigan - holds Russian and Serbian citizenship.

I would hope for someone better than Romeo Crennel as DC.  Go with a young, hungry coordinator like Kris Richard.  Lovie Smith or Marvin Lewis would be better in the experienced DC group

Yes, a big fan of Putin.

So are you looking at Steven for OC or DC .... or HC

I think his thinking is to bring in an older, established guy to help out a youngerish type like Sirriani, similar to what Rams did with McVay/Phillips. But yea, I’d rather go with the two you said

Cant wait to hear Jason Peters, in the league for 71 years, while playing for a different team that the Saints game really helped with his morale and mental toughness.

Hysterical you guys believe that ish

Hysterical that you don't
