There's a great video of Bruce Lee playing ping pong with nunchucks. Very impressive, but it's fake. At first look, this video is very cool. However, some of those guys start their somersaults before they're even touched. Or they extend a wrist to be grabbed and twisted. Choreographed.

Well it is a demonstration so I'm sure some of it is. I'll disagree that he's a phony.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Drafted Hurts because Howie thinks he's the smartest in the room. Also because he's an idiot

I think you're wrong on both counts - if that were true Doug would have been throwing ish and having a fire Howie tantrum. I've said before if he was just playing good little subservient HC then he should quit coaching and go to Hollywood - that's some Oscar worthy ish. Doug was giddy - like a kid who opened his big present Christmas morning and got exactly what he wanted.

I would hope for someone better than Romeo Crennel as DC.  Go with a young, hungry coordinator like Kris Richard.  Lovie Smith or Marvin Lewis would be better in the experienced DC group

I’d like Marvin Lewis but he’s not leaving ASU unless he gets a HC job from what i was told from someone from Arizona cause they were hoping he’d leave to go with Antonio Pierce if he took the Arizona job. won’t leave unless it’s for a HC

What do you guys think of Daniel Faalele?  6 foot 9 400 pound RT that played at Minnesota as a project RT in later rounds?  He's also Australian

I like him, but he actually has a pretty good draft grade so he may not make it to the late rounds

Maybe Doug did want Howie gone and Lurie chose Howie over Doug. Doug also had a horrible gameplan this season and it seemed like he gave up.

I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt too but the recent stuff doesn't bode well for people wanting to be in his corner.

John D and Reich supposedly had to stay in his a** (reportedly)…players seemed to alienate him because he possibly played favorites in the locker room, which likely is true because after this report he admitted to needing to work on being a better teammate. Reports this year show Press Taylor being more of a buddy then a coach, and Wentz liking it that way.

I think Wentz needs to adjust himself and get his head out of his butt and want to play football. Why want it easy? Where's the guy from 2016 that was hungry and just wanted to win games? This new head coach needs to almost be seen by Wentz as a new start, start over and get it right again. I think Wentz has the ability, he has shown it before, but quit your complaining and wanting to be the cinderella kid and play football.

As I said I have a different opinion.

And maybe Natalie Eva Marie will knock on my door and ... wait, there is someone at the door.

I get that this is a response from a pissed off fan, it's warranted, but it ain't the real reason. And like the other poster said we will never know the reason but that dumb move has bit us in the butt pretty bad. Because we now supposedly want to keep Wentz and fix him but what do you do with Hurts? Put him on the trade block a year after drafting him? Keep him around as a backup? Draft a QB at 53 to be a backup for 4 years before he becomes a FA? And then oh by the way Hurts and Wentz are supposed to be teammates when the other claimed to want to leave if Hurts was given a fair chance? Like that won't be awkward........

That draft decision has caused a ton of issues. Because TBH I'm starting to wonder if more players on this team now want to see Hurts as QB more than Wentz.

We don't know what happened is the point. Majority of the reports have been just opinion pieces

That was an opinion piece and not actually coming from Wentz or his agent

Ok, but I'm not talking about opinion pieces - I saw with my own eyes Doug's reaction to the pick as soon as it was announced. He was clearly a guy who just got the toy he had been asking for. He's not that good of an actor.

Exactly — Seagal gets a lot of heat for his martial arts prowess relative to other masters of martial arts, but for me and the rest of the 99.5% of the population who talks smack about his abilities — an actual physical confrontation would be quick, efficient, and pretty painful for us

Is he participating in the combine?  If he shows athleticism, it would be hard NOT to be interested in a boulder this size.

Clearly your mind isn't going to change so I'll just let this convo die

Good day

Doug probably thought he could use him like Hill. Only problem is Doug didn't know how. I think Doug stuck with Wentz this year as long as he could honestly. Doug didn't help Wentz out too much when he was in but he did stick with him.

He's also pretty big so that wouldn't help our cause

Plunging Hurts into the interior of the DL repeatedly for the first 12 weeks of the season wasn’t my first clue that Doug was in over his head as his own OC, but it was confirmation for sure

He gets a lot of heat because he's a lying fraud

5 minutes of googling him will show you what a joke he is.  I bet a fair amount of people in this thread could destroy him

I agree, I think the major difference with Hill and Hurts was actually Brees and Wentz. One guy is a HOFer and knows he's a HOFer - wants to win another Championship before the lights are turned out and has the knowledge and experience to help make adding Hill to the offense work. The other is still trying to figure ish out - I know some Wentz critics will say he's a 5 year vet ... but he's not really ... two major injuries robbed him of vital offseasons to develop. And then there is the team depleting around him. And yeah - Doug didn't know how - every time Hurts came in the game it seemed to break up the rhythm that offense seemed to have going.

Understood, but Wentz refused to meet w/ reporters after the season. That sure doesn't sound like someone who needs to address the media to clear the air because that rumor is not true.....Wentz has gone about it the wrong way as well. He could easily come forward and say he is ready to be the starting QB in 2021 and he looks forward to being a teammate of Jalen Hurts, regardless whom the coach is but he hasn't.

I get that there are rumors and they are nothing more then rumors. But Wentz has made himself look guilty to this point.
