The Keenan Allen aspect intrigued me when I first heard about them interviewing him. Maybe they could finally develop some young WR talent.

I doubt Eric B gave more than an hour to interview by phone and that’s not how Howie and Lurie roll.  Further, I suspect both have so much respect for long time employees like AR and McDermott no to disrupt their playoff runs.

Tell the NFL this is how the process of more minority coaches coming up through the ranks.  Retired players getting in to coaching more and more with many of them being AA.  As they become better coaches, better jobs will present themselves.  We don't need rules awarding draft picks, we simply need to be patient as the coaching pool becomes more diverse.

You forget how old I am.  I date back to before restrictor plates when speeds got to the 230-240 range.  When fans were upset by the imposition of restrictor plates.  Seemed to kind of go against the notion of the birth of NASCAR, racing bootlegger cars on the beach at Daytona.  Indy cars are faster, but if I am going to watch open cockpit cars, I will watch F1.
