I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Stop twisting the conversation. It has nothing to do with the lack of a plan. That's all I'm saying and if you want to bolt because they hired Sirianni that's your business.

psst... :peng: :peng:

What is a B level coach?

Is his source Josh McDaniels?

Way above z level which is where Doug fell to last year

Really disappointed he doesn’t have an S at the end of his name.

That's what the fans are for

McLane is an a-hole. I like the hire. Way better than McDaniels

Don't know enough about this guy to feel strongly either way. Definitely not my first, second, or third pick, etc, though. Also can't say I hate it yet either, where as I would've hated McDaniels. We'll see how the rest of the staff rounds out.

I see what you did there.

But he was supposedly calling around trying to build a staff. Sounds like he thought the job was his until Sirianni was the spicier choice

We might have done to Josh, what he did to Indy/us when he backed out.     Maybe Jeff was just trying to get back at him.  lol

Well it's one thing if we have a snowballs chance of converting it

Don't know much about him other than the little I've gleaned from watching the Colts the last few years.  Seems like a solid pick but very little to go on.  I like the youth and the AR/Reich background.

Wonder who will be OC

Missanelli more concerned about Duce Staley’s feelings

So is Duce gone?...

O.C. Pug Deterson and D.C. Shim Jwartz

That is the polar opposite of Doug.  Perfect.

Well at least I don't have to look at Josh McDaniels ugly face now.

If he really wants a HC spot, he needs to go somewhere else.  He's been interviewed for the job here a few times, and... turns out, "She's just not that in to you."

No one else has been on his trail either.   So, go elsewhere, get a wider network, and go from there.   He'd be a likely guy to land in KC if Bieniemy ends up in Houston...maybe as OC, or maybe just as a RB coach.

I think hiring Lynn as OC would be great. Has HC experience which is a benefit.

Good news for Roseman is that if Sirianni fails he can say McDaniels was his guy all along.

Nah, his guy was Arthur Smith, but they just got started late and he went to the Falcons 3 or 4 picks ahead of them.

It’s tricky to say much about his work in Indy.

2018: Reich is a new offensive minded HC with a very established QB.   Sirianni isn’t going to make or break that offense.

2019: Last minute pivot to a completely inexperienced and raw running qb.

2020: Very limited to what you can do with a 50 year old qb with no arm who needs to get the ball out instantly because he’ll break into pieces if he gets hit at his age.

Thats not a criticism of Sirianni...it’s just that his offensive design has basically been dictated to him by necessity for the last 3 years.  Not much chance to leave his fingerprints on anything.
