I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I just watched the presser with Ertz tearing up and it really just hit me. Wtf happened to this team? When I was running down Broad St at midnight in 2018 I could never have fathomed such a collapse. This team is at least 2 years away from being relevant and likely will take 3-4. What an equal disaster and shame.

Random thought. It’s annoying how all these coordinators go on HC interviews while their team is in the playoffs. Wish there was a rule that when your team is eliminated there’s no interviews until after the super bowl. That’d be impossible to police but still don’t think it’s right.

I actually think this is better than what they did previously. There's no traveling so there's more time for whoever it is to still work on the gameplan. I'm curious if the league will allow teams to keep doing the early interviews if they choose to do virtual meetings after the pandemic

Last thing on the Wentz saga until we have more info:

So Doug confirms that he hasn't spoken with Carson yet about the report (obviously we just played Washington), yet the media wants Carson to speak to them about it today?  Wentz should talk to these reporters about the internal issues before he has a sit down with Doug and Howie?  Get real.

I know a lot of people are pissed at Ertz for this year but, it really is ashame the way he is going out with this team. I think he deserved better. Maybe not the contract he wanted but, at least the respect to trade him in the beginning of the season if they didn't want to pay him big bucks. I'm not sure just sucks

Oh I know. He quit very early in the season. That speaks volumes to me because I would never take him for a quitter before this season. There’s some deeply rooted issues in that locker room. No one should ever just bail like he did, and my point wasn’t really about him. It just hit me when I was watching it for some reason.

Agreed. It was surprising as hell to me. I was really disappointed in him this season. I didn't think he deserved Kelce type money but he was a good safety blanket for Wentz

I think Howie really pissed him off with something. I think I read somewhere that Howie basically did nothing and didn't bother even talking to Ertz because he had zero leverage. With all the BS contracts Howie hands out Ertz should be the last guy you decide you don't want to do anything with IMO.

I highly doubt two players going after Doug happened. Probably very exaggerated, if it happened at all.

That said, there's been a ton of leaks coming out of the Eagles lately, and leaks almost always = discontent within an organization.

Howie isn't just in charge of the roster. He runs football ops. And our football team is spiraling before our eyes.

Doesn't Lurie care? How is this MFer still employed??? FFS... PUT OUT THE FIRE, JEFF

Just another reason to hate Howie

the fact ertz and howie got into that argument in practice before the season speaks volumes to me on how the whole thing was handled.

Agreed, like I said all the BS contracts and kicking the can down the road Howie has handed out over the years and Ertz is the guy you decide you don't want to bother with? Howie can go eff himself.

There have been reports that Howie and Ertz got into an argument and were shouting at each other in front of other players before the season started about his contract.  I love what Ertz did for this team, and he's the best receiving TE of all time for the Eagles.....but he visibly handled this season poorly.  Last night included.  Would have been awesome if we traded him before the season.

Agreed, like I said I know people are pissed and rightfully so. They should of just traded him instead of just sitting on him knowing he has no leverage and let him stew over the whole situation. The one guy that would of actually earned one of Howie's stupid extensions. Also having Goedert why are you pissing off a possible hall of famer and one of the main keys to winning your first super bowl if you have his replacement?

This was poorly handled by Howie like most things are.

Okay, never mind. After doing some reading it's just the Pro Bowl roster for the Madden video game. Not the actual Pro Bowl roster.

OK...googled this.

He was added to the probowl video game because of how many times his online player scored in online matches.

This is like adding my Madden avatar to the probowl.

This is not real and he is not a "probowl player."

As ridiculous as it sounds, for 2020, this probowl spot is as real as the other players that got voted in. He’ll go down as a probowl player for 2020 just as Mahomes and Rodgers are.

Yup should have traded him instead of disgruntling him and then expecting him to not play disgruntled

Assuming Kelce retires, is there anyone on the roster that could step in at C this year? Or would this automatically become a priority draft pick?

I know semoulo was supposed to be the replacement but, I just don't see that being the case anymore.

Seumalo, herbig, both have taken snaps at center.
