Man.  You got years on me.  I think I was 11 when Hagler and Leonard fought.

I was 13, but remember it well.  My step dad watched all the fights.  When Douglas beat Tyson we had relatives in town that I did not card much for.  I told him Douglas would win just to piss him off, and he said if Tyson loses I don't get to go out to dinner with everyone.  I was like sweet, I will take that bet.  I lived within walking distance of the Godfathers I worked at in high school, so I went and had Pizza instead.

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

I've got 2 pages of ignored folks.  Saves time.

I just added one I have been meaning to have on there. so 10 now. LOL Growing rapidly. Agree.

I am all for a good debate, I dont need to silence opinions differing from mine, I just have very little patience for illogical/irrational people

Hate filled nonsense, irrationality, inability to have a discussion without name calling, inability to present a cogent argument without moving the goalposts when the initial point is disproven.

Ohh....sorry

For a time, back on the old board, I did put you on ignore for a while.  lol   But, if I see some others responding to people often enough and the posts they are making are different than the reason they were put on the list, I pull them off.   Very few stay that way.   You should be honored.  lol

The race baiter you added today has been on the list for a long time.

My wife and I found out we are having a baby girl in August.  Her friend threw us one of those "gender reveal" parties.  I can't believe how much work goes into these things.  It was over the top ridiculous.  But when I lit that rocket, shot it out of my arse (jk), and pink smoke came out, the wife and I were freaking out with happiness.  She headbutted me by accident and busted my bottom lip up quite a bit.  😂

Congrats. Just don’t name her after the whole rocket shooting out your bum

I am not in the double figures group.  IPiggles reminded me of one.  Do I get a pin?

You get a cup of free Vanilla Ice Cream, you can collect at the Nova Care complex.

Maybe the Bills will trade us Josh Allen.  He lost to Mahomes, so they have to move on.

Probably for the best that the bills draft a cheap backup in the second round just in case

I met him back when I was a kid.  I lived in Florida at the time and worked at a flea market on the weekend selling kitchen equipment.  Seriously!  Anyway, he and his wife must have lived close by, I think I was like 15 or 16.  They came to the "store" and bought some ish.  I helped them carry stuff to their car.  I even asked him, "hey aren't you Steve Carlton" or something like that.  I was in awe.  Dude denied it completely.  He opens up his trunk of his car, palms a basketball in the trunk to move it out of the way so I can put the stuff away.  I think he tipped me a few bucks.  Anyway, I went back to the store.  Asked the owner what the check said and sure it enough it said Beverly Carlton or Linda or something like that.  Dude was a strange one.

I once watched a Phillies game in a box with just one family member of mine, Steve Carlton, Jim Bunning, and Robin Roberts. I still have the ball that they all signed for me.

Social media is so toxic. Lurie being bashed by local reporters for his "all white” coaching staff.

I can’t believe this is where we are a society now. Guilting owners for hiring people they like. It’s cancer.

I agree, but I think it's a process. Until white and black hirees feel and demonstrate that they're as at ease as these guys with their new bosses, there will be some reaction to the whiteness. This would happen if they were all black as well.

I don't envy the scrutiny Sirianni is about to endure; cameras following him around.

What?!?!?!   Come on man!  Was it because of my slandering fat Andy?  Or maybe my love for BBQ?   Blessings.

The BBQ was what got you off the list.  lol

I'm confused by this... Teams win games, not players.

And didn't we see the Eagles win the Super Bowl with Nick Foles as the starting QB against Tom Brady?  So... was Nick the guy to keep or was it just that the Eagles TEAM was better than the Patriots TEAM?

There are essentially two ways to win SBs. Having a top 5 roster or a top 5 QB. Wentz, given how the injuries have reduced his athleticism, will not be a top 5 QB and carry an offense like Mahomes, Rodgers, Watson, etc. can.

Do you think we can build a top 5 roster around Wentz making 30M a year? I don't, so the alternative is to find a cheaper, younger quarterback and get back to the 2017-2018 model of cost-controlled QBs with good talent around them.

This super bowl is going to be blah, seriously Brady go away! Either Beast is banned or something happened to him. We should have been trolled easily by now.

He's probably trying to not get banned since apparently people report the most in here

I know its guilt by association, but I don't want Modkins because of his affiliation to Chip Kelly in SF in 2016.   Sure, that's unfair to him.  But, the only good thing to come from the Kelly era was that they got Stoutland.  Everything else basically happened in spite of him, not because of him.  And frankly, I'm not sure that the Stoutland hire was because of Kelly either.   IIRC, Stoutland wanted to move back to the NE to be closer to his dad, who was sick.  So, being from Staten Island, Philadelphia offered him that opportunity.  I think it was coincidental that the OL position was open when Mudd was let go along with the Andy Reid staff in 2012, when Stoutland was looking to move to the NE prior to 2013.

Honestly I miss the sports science and smoothies or whatever it was that kept the injuries from piling up. Doug's era was riddled with injuries

So green bay loses at home. Is there any hope of Rodgers winning another Super Bowl before he retires?

I think he just signed a huge contract recently. Maybe next time they shouldn't draft a QB so early

Also the play calling in the championship game was not from a #1 seed. It was crap

Congrats

If you had to create your own odds...

Odds Sirianni is still the coach when the Eagles are legitimate SB contender again?

Congrats man! Got a boy coming in August. No reveal party, just made the whole family take bets and did a "reveal" via Zoom.  Still pretty fun to watch everyone react.

Congrats to you too!

Does he somehow know something about our next WR coach?

No, but he knows about the lsd laced ice cream that Doug left behind

Duce Staley joining Dan Campbell in Detroit. No title given yet. I'm assuming either as RB coach or OC.

Knee Gnawing Coordinator

I like that we've upgraded from a visor coach to a visor coach with a pen clipped on

Very important and subtle difference

What coach would get that kind of reaction though?

Better than a pencil sticking out of his hat like Patricia.
