There is supposed to be a Chipotle coming to Hazleton. Next to Wendys, which is the next building down from Taco Bell. Ballsy stepping on that turf. And I will never go there

I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

Cafe Rio is what you want to move in.

If Doug had put together a staff like the one Sirianni is putting together, would Howie have been tempted to interfere?

Doug dug his own hole.

Well, we didn’t fall for the Duce trap or hire a complete meathead like the Lions, but it’s a bit premature to just assume the staff is great.

They are a bunch of young ambitious unknowns.  Good be great, could be awful.

Don't recommend this BwF episode. 45 minutes in and they've spent the whole episode talking about the skin color of the coaches past and present. "It's a bad look" "Not to make excuses for Lurie here, but..." "It's something people in the organization need to whisper in his ear that he needs to start taking a look at" "There's a clear bias here" were just some of the things said.

Andrew Breiner is the next coach that needs to go. I don’t want a single coach that had anything to do with our abysmal passing game.

I’d love to leave a comment on their YouTube section about when they start their quest for more Asian and Latino coaches to be hired and interviewed. Since there’s far less of both of those in front offices and coaches then anyone.

They mentioned that they've gotten a lot of negative comments from fans for harping on this before they started talking about it. They mentioned Castillo and Bowles, followed by a "but...."

The "excuse" comments I find more laughable than the others. Mike Silver used that same line on NFLN earlier. "I'm tired of the excuses." Excuses? He can hire whomever the F he wants. No one is entitled to a job coaching in the NFL. Excuses are something you make when you commit wrongdoing. No wrongdoing was committed here.

And they always say "Not to take anything away from the coaches who were hired, but.." well, but you are taking something away from them. You're essentially angry that they picked guy A over guy B when no one has any clue how good either of them will be as coaches, "qualifications" or not, but throw a hissy fit over it anyway.

This is so absurd.

bo should set an example and quit so a minority can have his job. LOL

My sister dealt with it with people at her company. When they went in front of the state to discuss some fo the laws levied in the industry, they were like you guys really lack diversity in this company. My sister was like our top 3 employees (CEO, presidents) are an Egyptian Muslim, Sephardic Jew and asian. She was like doesn’t get much more diverse than that.

AF likes to spike the ball before he gets to the end zone.

Keep in mind Howie wanted to fire Reich after one year...

I'm all for progression, but it's funny that everyone wants to talk about the lack of minority head coaching hires, but not talk about the 3 black GMs that have been hired this cycle. It just goes to show the dynamic at work with this kind of thinking.

DeMeco Ryans and Marcus Brady also get promoted to coordinator positions and you don’t hear anything about it at all either

That’s cause wokespn doesn’t want to give people credit. It’s the same issue when they botched the Sean Miller story.  (And there was a ton of retractions they had to make due to faulty reporting but they kept it on the down low on the web site). They throw things out they want too but the ones against their narrative they push down

This tweet is a good summation for what your sister is dealing with.

Basically the difference between equity and equality is her situation.

If he wanted to, he would have. There were some questions about how they handled things that first year. And as we've seen, the concerns with Doug were legitimate.

I think the problem was Doug seems like the kind of guy who thought being HC was an OC who called plays, and didn't really understand it as an administrative position where you had to be prepared to bring in new people every year and oversee the entire operation.

Eagles went from Mr. Organized, to Brilliant, to Clubhouse manager, and now it seems back to Mr. Organized.

This is why the interview will be the key from now on, if you don't show up prepared to be a HC (not just schemes and philosophy, but everything from the deep list of potential candidates for positions to how you'll organize practices, manage players' conditioning and health , etc. etc.) you'll have a short interview.

Lowie have learned that vision isn't as important as implementation.

What is the latest with Doug?  Year off?

That's all you ever know, but notice the hot market for Groh and Press Taylor?

The "hottest" coaches were Fipp, Pelle and Stoutland, all "forced" upon Pederson (I don't think they were forced, I suspect he didn't have alternatives lined up).

Bought a Haagen daz factory. After every eagles win he gives away free vanilla ice cream. When they lose he tries to promote press Taylor to be re-hired

Sirianni is gonna shake it up this year when he gives out gelato

Howie with another stroke of brilliance! He managed to not bully Doug into firing his first-year OC that ended up being a phenomenal OC. Howie is so good.

Offseason Countdown:

Senior Bowl- 4 days
Super Bowl- 13 days
NFL Free Agency- 50 days
NFL Draft- 94 days

It’s gonna be a long three months.

I don't understand how you can have the Senior Bowl and consider that safe but not have the combine because that wouldn't be safe.

Senior Bowl- Players in direct contact every practice and play as well as close proximity in meetings and sideline. SAFE

Combine- Players in position groups but can be spread across entire field, no contact needed (lineman drills can be modified) as well as having loads of medical staff on hand.  NOT SAFE.

Can someone explain this one?

It's really sad.  It's just making me numb to any conversation about race anymore.  The minute I hear white or black I tune out, change the channel or close the page.  I opened up my email today (I still use AOL) and the lead story was "WHITE PEOPLE LEAST LIKELY TO WEAR MASKS".  There is 100% no reason to do this study and write this article.  I'm just sick of all of it.
